Hey everyone!
I am absolutely exhausted after a fabulously awesome day! I've just gotten home from my cousin's wedding and I am still overcome by what love can achieve. I am so proud of my big cousin and his beautiful bride, they are absolutely perfect for each other. I cannot think of a more perfect pair.
My cousin has grown from a little mischievous trouble maker into a doctor with a PhD who researches brain functions at a university and now into a happy man with a beautiful, smart wife by his side. I am so proud of him and I think that ever since he met Fiona (his now wife) he has become more comfortable with himself and with his family. I certainly feel more comfortable around him.
And what can I say about Fiona?
She is the most beautiful girl I have ever met and is absolutely perfect for Tim. The pair of them fit each other so wonderfully. They're almost like puzzle pieces, in a field where one has shortcomings the other strives and vice versa. It's so beautiful to see that two people have found their perfect soulmates and I know that they will be happy together forever.
The ceremony was beautiful, it started at 11:00am in Newstead Park in the city by the river. It was held directly beside the river and was very romantic and informal. It was so beautiful that I almost began to cry and Mum certainly did! After that we hung around the park and talked to the hundreds of relatives that had come from all around Australia and the world (we had some from London and China) for this one wedding!
Then at 12:30 we all moved to the Allan Border Pavillion at the Allan Border fields for the reception. We had pre-lunch drinks until about 1:30 when we were moved into a proper large dining area and let me tell you it was just like a posh wedding reception! It was gorgeous, the chairs had white almost sheet like things over them with large gold ribbons tied at the back of them. We had an entree at about 2:15 and then our main meal which was of salmon and some form of sauce, all beautifully presented, of course. Then there were some wonderful speeches, from Fiona's father, Tim's father and the Best Man. The speeches were so wonderful I was almost moved to tears. The idea that so many people from so many corners of the world came together to celebrate love has made me realise that love is one of the most powerful things in the world, even though I already kind of knew that. Tim's speech was wonderful, so romantic, he continued to complete his new wife and her beauty and everything about her and it was wonderful, so wonderful! I was almost crying, I just hope that someday my wedding will be as beautiful and as moving as this one. It was truly a joyous occasion. I loved it.
Then Tim and Fiona cut their wedding cake, and we all had a piece. It was lovely, there were toasts (I had non-alcoholic wine) and everyone honoured the new bride and groom. I felt so happy for them, it was wonderful. Finally they shared their first dance as husband and wife, it was so beautiful. Tim looked so nervous but Fiona soon put him at ease and they moved together as one, which was so sweet and romantic. Soon there was lots of talking and dancing going on and finally our family (Mum, Dad, Nick and I) left at 6:00pm after a very long day.
And now I'm here, reflecting on it all and how proud I am of my cousin and his wife. They deserve every happiness in the world, they deserve everything, they deserve perfection.
Love is the best thing in the world, it brings people together, and when two people find each other and realise that they are soulmates it is the most amazing thing you will ever see. I am proud to have witnessed the union of two wonderful people, I am so proud and happy.
I don't think I will ever forget the Best Man's words, the best part of his speech I think: 'Tim came into work one morning with this stupid grin on his face, so, because I'm a grumpy old bugger and his happiness was pissing me off I asked him what had happened. And he said: Last night I kissed my flatmate.'
That's how it all began. This wonderful love that Tim and Fiona share, it started with a simple kiss and ended with a wedding. But it didn't really end, it's more like the beginning. The true beginning of their love and life together.
I'm so excited for them.
Love is beautiful and so are weddings!
Love you all!
Jess.

Where the hell have I been?
Hey everyone!
Right I know what you're all thinking....where have I been for the past 4 months????
Well I have been busy with school (that sure paid off, but we'll talk about that later) and family. But hopefully you will all have forgiven me for neglecting the faithful readers of my blog :D
Ok, time for the big news.......
I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know! It's awesome, right????? Well it's kind of old-news now, he asked me out a month and two weeks ago but still, I'm celebrating!!!!!!!!!! *Turns on celebratory music*
Last time I posted I was still talking about my "crush" whom I was too scared to let go of. But, soon after I last posted, my boyfriend and I began chatting a lot more and a crush on him that I had had at the end of last year came rushing back!!!!
I told him I liked him (I know right????? Me being brave?????? That's insane!) and then he told me that he liked me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A guy liked me!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG, I went into major meltdown mode! Mum came over and asked me how I was going talking to him (she had known about my crush on him since it had started in December last year) and I burst into tears telling her that he had told me that he liked me!
I was over the moon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway and then on the 21st of May the thing I had been waiting for finally happened. And oh my god I couldn't have planned it better myself.
My boyfriend asked me to go for a walk away from our lunch group and so as we walked I was babbling on like an idiot! I would not stop talking, that's how nervous I was! So my boyfriend stopped walking after a couple of minutes and I stopped as well, though I didn't take the hint and kept chatting away like anything! And then he gave me a look, you know the look, like: 'Shut up, I want to talk now.'
So I finally stopped babbling like an idiot and he said:
"So, do you want to go out with me?"
And this was my response inside my head:
"OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG, this is actually happening! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG, I'm going to have a boyfriend! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG, why the hell haven't you said anything yet???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
So my mouth finally got the message and managed to say:
"Uhhhhhh.......yes!"
and he was like:
"I thought you'd say that."
And then we walked back to the group, laughing and laughing because we were so relieved it was over!!!!
I can't believe what an idiot I sounded like! I mean what girl honestly says:
"Uhhhhhh.......yes!" When the guy she has been crushing on for ages asks her out????????? What teenage girl honestly says that???????????
So I think it's offical, I don't actually have a proper teenage bone in my body! I don't know the first thing about being a teenager.....well except the boyfriend part, that I know a bit about.
But I don't know anything else about being a teen!!!!!! How the hell are you meant to be a teenager???????????
Anyway, I guess that's enough of my freaking out and using over-punctuation. I'd just like to say one thing before I say goodbye.
I have a boyfriend, I have a boyfriend and he is the best guy in the world. He is cute, funny, smart, kind, confident and can always make me feel better. I have no clue why he likes me but, god, I'm so lucky!
I love my life.
Love you guys always,
Jess.
P.S: I'm taking a leaf out of Meg Cabot's book and from now one my boyfriend will be known as He Who Will Not Be Named In This Blog (or HWWNBNITB for short)
P.P.S: My message for the day: Stay young, don't grow up too fast because then you'll spent the rest of your life trying to grow down!

Guides, Boys, State AGMS and Brothers
Hey there everyone!
Well it's been an eventful few days for me......for one this guy called Brett asked me out, which was really really sweet of him, I've known him for years and years and he's a pretty nice guys. Though I had to say no, but it made me really happy to know that someone likes me in that way, so I really am glad that he asked me out, it gave me a real confidence boost though I was sad to hurt his feelings by saying no to him.
Anyway I have so many exams right now it is making me crazy.....I can't stand it anymore!!!!!!!! My brain is going to explode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a Science test tomorrow and a SOSE response to stimulus exam as well, ARGH! It's nuts!!!!
But anyway, I got my results for my King Arthur essay back today and I was like: I hope I get a good mark, I better get a good mark, I spent soooooooooooooooooooooo many days on that assignment...please let me get a good mark.....
And.....................
I GOT AN A+ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyhoo, excuse my random outburst just then............I don't know what else to write about......Oh right, I remember something to write about now!!!!
Last night was my Guide groups St Patrick Day party (I know, we were a week too late.....let's move on!) We all brought friends and did heaps of really really cool activities and it was really fun....I had a great time except now I'm really tired and my brother is sick and had to go to hospital last night (just to get some antibiotics, he's ok now).
Oh! And my guide leader, Fiona, picked me and my friend Rose to go to the State AGM on Friday night and speak at it about how Guides has helped us reach our full potential and we have to read some poems and say some sayings and stuff....it's a really big deal for me and Rose and we're really excited....I'm sooooooooooooooooo proud that she picked me out of the girls in our unit seeing as I'm one of the youngest.....It made me really proud.
Oops, I have to go and have dinner and do other stuff.
Love you all.
TTYL,
Jess.

Catch-up
Hey there everyone!
Sorry about not posting for a while, that always seems to be my first sentence in any post....he he!
Anyway, this will only be a short post because I have to go and have dinner in a moment. But I'm doing really really well in school at the moment and I'm really proud of myself. My teachers were proud of me and said that I was doing brilliantly in my classes, which was a massive relief! Mum was ecstatic and said that I had really great teachers and that she was really proud of me....YAY! GO ME!
I have soooooooooooooooooooooo many tests next week! I have one test on Wednesday (science), two tests on Thursday (English and Maths) and another two tests on Friday (English, again, and Maths, again!)
I'm really happy with how I'm going at school and there hasn't been any more massive fights with friends which is good.....there have been a few comments but that's ok, I can deal with that.
Oops, I have to go, dinner time, Dad's going to shout at me.
Love all you guys, I'll post again soon, I'm so relieved that I'm doing well!
TTYL,
Jess.

BEST NIGHT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi there faithful blog followers!
Well last night was possibly the BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went over Amy's house for a girls movie night with Ash and we had the best time!!!!!!! We played 'Life' which is a board game and that was really fun, Ash and I sang along to most of the songs on the cd player and so did Amy which was really cool.....we actually didn't sound that bad!
Then we got into our swimmers and sarongs and ran around the backyard, then we collapsed on the trampoline and looked at the stars and talked about anything and everything.
Finally we got into the SPA (they have a spa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and watched Mamma Mia! It was really cool because we all chose a character and sang all there songs in the movie which was really really fun....I love to sing!!
Anyway we finally went to bed at like 12:30 and woke up really early and went on heaps of bike and scooter rides and lazed about and had water fights and did heaps of other really cool stuff today.....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway I don't want to talk too much more about it because I'm sure I'm boring you all, so I'll move on to something else that happened to me.
I was laying on the trampoline staring at the stars with the others and all of a sudden I really wanted to see a certain someone (and it's not who you are all thinking) I just really wanted to see them so badly, not hug them or anything but just see their face.......I don't know why, must be something about growing up. Yeah but I couldn't believe just how much I wanted to see that person, it was crazy....but I won't get a chance to see him for ages (till May) and god I miss him so much, I've known him since 2005 and thought I had gotten over my crush on him but obviously I haven't.....I just wanted to see him so much!
Anyway, I'm probably boring you but yeah....that's me!
I had the BEST NIGHT EVER with Amy and Ash and I am so going to be planning my own movie night for all my besties just so we can have just as much fun!

I was so stupid!
Hey there everyone!
This is just a quick note about something important that I have realised over the past few days........
The most important thing that you can have in your life is some good friends, they are the best accesory, in fact they go with everything....not just clothes, but they go with every day, every emotion and everything that happens to you.
Life is a rollercoaster, things go up and down and stuff happens so randomly that often you don't know what to expect. So often, your friends are the only thing that remain the same in your life. Sometimes they are the only thing that keeps you sane.
Earlier this week I almost lost one of my greatest friends because of a stupid little thing....Now that everything is fixed I realise just how great my loss could have been.
As soon as the fight happened I got this really sick feeling in my stomach, like a big hole had opened up where my stomach used to be......I realise now that that is the place where your friendships sit, making you feel all happy and bubbly. And when I almost lost one of my greatest friends, who I know will always support me, then the happy feeling disappeared.
That is how important friendship is.....Luckily I came to my senses and the fight was resolved....I will never do something so stupid again, I have to stick by my friends and know that they will stick by me no matter what.
Friendship is so precious I feel like I was dying when I almost lost it. I'll never be so dumb again, everything is back to normal now and I feel so happy about it.
Make sure you never make the same mistake I did, friendship is the most important thing in life.
I love all my friends and will never let you guys go!

Jess.

Revelations
Hi there everyone
Well I am a really bad person I guess, I seem to always be breaking my promise about posting more often! Sorry about that guys but I'm glad that you guys have been nagging me to post because that's what has convinced me to post today!
Anyway heaps of exciting stuff has been happening at the moment and a lot of revelations have occured. First of all for those of you who don't know:
MY CRUSH ASKED FOR MY PHONE NUMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited, I haven't turned my phone off since Friday because I keep waiting for him to text me.....god I wish he would text me. He asked me during band by typing my name into his phone and giving it to me....I was speechless so he said: 'Phone number,' and I said, 'Mobile or home?' and he said 'Mobile' I was about to write in my number then I remember that I don't actually know it. I told him that I didn't know it but that it was in my phone and I would give it to me after band.....he said ok and I couldn't stop smiling for the rest of band.
I couldn't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After band he was waiting for me and obviously he wanted the number but didn't have the guts to ask so I said: 'So you want that number?' and he said: 'Ok,' then I gave it to him and said 'If you memorise it before I do then I will be really mad.' Then he memorised it right in front of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then he waited for me while Mr Thompson was busy with my music and stuff, it was nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't stop smiling, I was over the moon!!!!!!
Anyway, I have realised something, being single is a good thing.....and I have also decided that I don't like the word single, I would rather call it being free! Because think about it, you are free to do anything you wish, free to concentrate on your friends and family and schoolwork.
I have also realised that before you can love someone, you need to be able to be comfortable with yourself and love yourself....You need to be content and happy before you can join yourself in a partnership with another.
Also, sometimes you can be wishing that you were in love with someone when really you aren't....sometimes moving on is harder than being with someone you don't love.
But when you move on it is the best feeling, especially if you are compromising who you are while you are with that person. Luckily someone I know realised something important about a relationship before it was too late, so don't be afraid to question things, it's one of the most important thing you can do in life.
Anyway today I was sitting with my friends at lunch and watching my crush play handball, soooooooooooooooooo cute! But then, I looked away and when I looked back, he was looking at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I'm imagining it but I just felt a sudden surge of happiness............I don't know what's going on but I know one thing:
I think I love him........actually I know I love him, he is cute and funny and sensitive and the most wonderful guy on the planet.
Anyway that's it for the moment, I feel so happy I could just burst.....I love you guys too and I promise that if I ever get into a relationship that it won't compromise my friends. It'll be a joint thing, I'll be with him but my heart will also belong to my friends. He won't replace you guys if we go out, I promise you that now.
If I ever ever ever do desert my friends I hope that they will tell me without fear, I realised something important about friendship....You need to be honest, even if you are afraid, you need to be able to speak up, because more often than not your friend will have realised that something is wrong and will be happy that you are talking to them about it.
I love my BFFs they rock!!!!!!! They are my world and I don't know where I would be without them.....my world would be dark and there would be no funny jokes or happy catch-ups at lunch or laughing over boys and teachers or sleepovers where you stay up late and just giggle over nothing.
I love you guys and I always will.
TTYL,
Jess.

TTYL,
Jess.

Wow! I haven't posted for ages!
Hi there everyone!
I'm so sorry for forgetting about this blog for so many days! It's now the 15th of February (the day after Valentine's Day) and I haven't posted since like the 31st or something!
I promise to be more dilligent with my blog posts from now on but the first three weeks of school has just been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hectic!
Anyway, on Thursday the 12th it was my friend Kat's birthday, I forgot about it in the morning and she had to remind me and it was way embarassing so at first break I surprised her with a birthday text that took like ten minutes to write and send.....LOL!
So on Friday afternoon Ash and I went over her house to celebrate her birthday and we slept over there that night which was pretty fun......I got home at like 3:30pm yesterday and I was really really tired.
Kat's party was pretty fun, we talked about heaps of stuff and went swimming, made a dam (don't ask, it's a long story!) and played games.....I won't write too much because I don't want to gloat about how great a time I had.
So, moving on, Wednesday is District Swimming Carnival so this morning I'm going to the pool to practise doing some 50m races, I love doing 25m but they don't have any 25m races in Districts so I have to do 50m.....ARGH! But it should be fun because Ash is coming too, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and tomorrow night my guide group is going to have dinner at Sizzler's to celebrate the 18th birthday of one of our members, so that should be fun....plus we get to get dressed up and looking nice....YAY!!!!!
Anyways, it's 20 to 9 and I haven't had breakfast yet, I should probably go.....Oh and by the way, on Friday at band my crush and I talked and he even started some conversations......I was really happy about that!!!!! See, I've got this massive smile plastered all over my face!

Long Time, no posting!
Hey there everyone!
WOW!!!!!! I haven't posted in......*counts on fingers*......four whole days!!!!! Sorry about that guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway....I think I'm finally settling into grade 9, everything has just been so hectic that I haven't gotten a chance to post!!!!
Anyway this week was pretty average but I am now exhausted.....school takes a lot out of you!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway school was average.......the hard work is definitely going to start next week! I already have a music assignment and Drama is already starting to be hard work!!! In SOSE we are hoping to have a Medieval Banquet because we are learning about the Middle Ages, that should be fun!!!! YAY!!!!
So yesterday was the school swimming carnival and I had to swim with the grade tens because I am the year older.
So.........Here are the results, drum roll please!
25m Freestyle: 1st place
25m Breaststroke: 1st place
How cool is that?????????????????????????? I really wasn't expecting it!!!!!! And then at the end of my Breaststroke race one of the P.E teachers came up to me....the conversation went like this:
P.E teacher: 'Have you done any swimming training before?'
Me (puzzled): 'No, not at all.'
P.E teacher: 'Is that the fastest you can go or were you just cruising?'
Me (sheepish): 'It depends.'
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone noticed my swimming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND.......Drum roll again please!!!!!
I GOT INTO DISTRICTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Usually you can only get into districts if you do the 50m races but they must have been impressed with my times.....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, as you can see, I am very very excited.....So excited that this morning, after the gym, Mum took me to Zest and I practised my swimming, best times:
Freestyle (25m): 22 seconds
Breaststroke (25m): 33 seconds
YAY!!!!!!!!! I have a long way to go so I need to get in some more practise, I tried to do the 50m but my muscles were still aching from yesterday so I just did the 25's.
While I was at the pool I saw Ms Bowie.......my Care teacher!!!!!! She was in her swimmers and was about to do some laps in the lane next to us......That made me feel really uncomfortable!!!!!!!
Anyway, I promise I won't leave you guys without news for quite so long next time....my friends were hassling me to post again (thanks Tristan!)
I am so far having a really good time in year 9!!!! So.....

First Day
Hi there everyone!
Well today was my first day of year 9!!!! It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo exciting but this morning, while I was getting dressed, the butterflies started coming!!!!
Luckily they soon disappeared and Mum and I picked up Amy from her house (complete with her brand new knee length socks!) and we went to school together.
The coolest thing that we did was step through the school gates together with linked arms, actually entering year 9 together....promising to support each other! How cool and symbolic is that?????
But anyway I am now in 9D and my care teacher: Ms Bowie is the coolest!!!! She's really nice and really really funny! Today was pretty boring though.....the first day of grade 8 was exciting but after a while today just got boring....lol! My brother was right! So anyway, we had care class for all of first period (Jen and I just chatted! YAY!) and then we had SOSE....Amy and I sat together and I think we kind of freaked our teacher out with our answers to her little 'happiness' quiz.........we put our hands up to say yes to all the same things....and it was unintentional!!!!!!! I will keep you updated on whether or not Ms Adams continues to get freaked out by us!!!!!
Then we period 3 we had Swimming Carnival nominations, boring! Swimming Carnival is on Friday and I am in one race....yay!!!! But I might enter more on the day if they want more swimmers for any races....that usually happens!!!!!
I was really glad to see my friends who were entering grade 8 settle in really well....they seemed to make friends quickly and have a good time!
Then we went to Music Extension for about 15 minutes and our teacher Ms McCrystal....I mean Mrs Nagel.....she got married on the holidays!!!!!!!!!!! And she looks so happy....anyway we are starting a unit called 'My favourite things' can you guess where that title comes from???? I'll tell you tomorrow...he he, something for you to think about!
Then in period four we did Interschool Sport selections...I am going into Recreational Sport (Rec. Sport for short!)
Then finally we got to go home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the best day but I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo exhausted when I got home, I actually started crying for no apparent reason!!!!!! Though it is that time of the month so that probably explains it.....I was only crying for like a couple of minutes and then I just went and relaxed....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a really great day, it was sooooooooooooooooooo good to see everyone again!!!!!!!!! I think grade 9 is going to be a really good year!!!! I have heaps of awesome teachers......very friendly and funny!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have Drama first period tomorrow than Music Extension then SOSE and then Science.......a pretty good day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really excited to be back to school in case you can't tell!!!!!!!
I'll stop writing now before I kill you all with my excessive punctuation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll write again tomorrow, hopefully, I think all the work is actually going to start tomorrow.....today was pretty easy and it was great fun, but I am very excited about the actual work starting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're back at school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't even know what to call this post....
Hey there faithful blog followers!
Sorry for not posting yesterday I was just tired and everyone was talking to me and, yeah, I just wasn't in the mood.
Anyway, nothing much happened yesterday anyway so it would have been a dreadfully boring post! He he, but anyway last night was cool. I stayed up late and talked to practically all my friends, it was great.....Tristan convinced me to stay up later than I wanted to....I am so easily convinced!! I have to work on that this year!!!!
Anyway, today was incredibly boring and I barely did anything so this will be a short post.
So I got up, ate breakfast, watched TV....all the usual stuff, that you have heard me talk about a gazillion times!
Anyway, so something dramatic happened to Amy today and that has inspired my newest rant. Which is 'Don't Let Boyfriends Push You Around!'
Here we go:
I think that if a boyfriend doesn't respect you and understand your values then he is not being a true boyfriend....heck he is not even being a true friend if he does that!
But boyfriends need to understand that you have made promises to yourself and have priorities and have values and need to be respected and valued. I hate it when boys take girls for granted and treat them like status symbols.
They also need to respect themselves and understand the idea of having goals and values.
If a boy calls you fridget or anything like that, even if he is joking (which he can't be because that is just not funny!) or if he refuses to own up to his mistakes and uses the cover of it being a "joke" then I would break up with him because he clearly doesn't respect you....or if he accuses you of cheating when he knew you wouldn't and then says that he was "joking" that is enough of a reason to break up with him....You have to have trust in a relationship, it is one of the most important things...otherwise a relationship has no chance of succeeding!
Ok, rant over....Now I have to go to dinner!!! Yummy!!!

Just another post......
Hi there everyone!
Ok, I know what you're thinking....you don't want this to be another post about politics and I assure you that it won't be, I just have on thing I would like to say:
BARACK OBAMA IS IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy and really excited about this new era of government. I think with Barack Obama leading the United States that relations with Australia can only improve and that we might have a real chance of ending the war in Iraq and the war in Afghanistan.
When I woke up this morning it was 5:30 so by the time I got downstairs it was 5:45 then I spent from 5:45 till about 8:00 watching al the proceedings in the United States (via TV of course).
Naturally Barack Obama had already taken the presidental oath but I got up in time to see the live coverage of the luncheon (a fancy word for lunch) and hear the breaking news that Ted Kennedy had suffered a seizure.....I pray that he will be alright.
Then I spent more than an hour watching Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and their two daughters 10 year old Malia and 7 year old Sasha, make their way in the presidental limo down Pennyslvania Avenue and into the White House.
It took them a very long time seeing as they were only going about 1km an hour!!! Which is really slow, but it was worth waiting all that time to see them walk inside the White House. As soon as they were inside it was pretty much all over, so I turned off the TV and came upstairs to eat breakfast and write this.
Now, what else should I talk about??????????????????????????????????????????
Umm, I don't know........Oh wait! Yes I do, you see yesterday was ultra boring so I don't really have anything to say about it....So I'll write a poem right now just for you guys:
Friendship
Friendship equals love
Friendship means hope
Friendship equates to support
Friendship brings laughter
but most of all
Friendship is to the sum to you
Dancing
Dancing in the rain
it's not the same
without you.
Dancing in the street
it isn't complete
without you.
Dancing in the sky
it isn't the right time
without you.
Dancing in the theatre
I can't come any nearer
without you.
Dancing in class
it all falls apart
without you.
Dancing in my room
I know you'll be there soon
and all will be complete
with you.
Music
Life is a dance
But I can't hear the music.
I'm moving side to side
not knowing where to turn.
The rhythm and the steps
are hidden deep inside
the tresses of my mind.
I leap and I jump
but I can't seem to find the way,
to make the music play.
But when you're here
there is music.
When you're with me
I can feel the rhythm.
When you're near
the steps emerge,
like children
returning home.
When we're close,
the music becomes louder
I can feel the steps flowing
through my body.
I'm the dancer and
you are my music.
Without you,
nothing makes sense.
Well there you are, three different poems....Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think....

Ok, I know what you're thinking....you don't want this to be another post about politics and I assure you that it won't be, I just have on thing I would like to say:
BARACK OBAMA IS IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy and really excited about this new era of government. I think with Barack Obama leading the United States that relations with Australia can only improve and that we might have a real chance of ending the war in Iraq and the war in Afghanistan.
When I woke up this morning it was 5:30 so by the time I got downstairs it was 5:45 then I spent from 5:45 till about 8:00 watching al the proceedings in the United States (via TV of course).
Naturally Barack Obama had already taken the presidental oath but I got up in time to see the live coverage of the luncheon (a fancy word for lunch) and hear the breaking news that Ted Kennedy had suffered a seizure.....I pray that he will be alright.
Then I spent more than an hour watching Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and their two daughters 10 year old Malia and 7 year old Sasha, make their way in the presidental limo down Pennyslvania Avenue and into the White House.
It took them a very long time seeing as they were only going about 1km an hour!!! Which is really slow, but it was worth waiting all that time to see them walk inside the White House. As soon as they were inside it was pretty much all over, so I turned off the TV and came upstairs to eat breakfast and write this.
Now, what else should I talk about??????????????????????????????????????????
Umm, I don't know........Oh wait! Yes I do, you see yesterday was ultra boring so I don't really have anything to say about it....So I'll write a poem right now just for you guys:
Friendship
Friendship equals love
Friendship means hope
Friendship equates to support
Friendship brings laughter
but most of all
Friendship is to the sum to you
Dancing
Dancing in the rain
it's not the same
without you.
Dancing in the street
it isn't complete
without you.
Dancing in the sky
it isn't the right time
without you.
Dancing in the theatre
I can't come any nearer
without you.
Dancing in class
it all falls apart
without you.
Dancing in my room
I know you'll be there soon
and all will be complete
with you.
Music
Life is a dance
But I can't hear the music.
I'm moving side to side
not knowing where to turn.
The rhythm and the steps
are hidden deep inside
the tresses of my mind.
I leap and I jump
but I can't seem to find the way,
to make the music play.
But when you're here
there is music.
When you're with me
I can feel the rhythm.
When you're near
the steps emerge,
like children
returning home.
When we're close,
the music becomes louder
I can feel the steps flowing
through my body.
I'm the dancer and
you are my music.
Without you,
nothing makes sense.
Well there you are, three different poems....Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think....
I just made these up by the way, when I was writing them here I was writing them for the first time!!!! :D
I don't know if they're good or not so tell me what you think!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what today will bring but I know I can survive it because I know that everyone who reads this is behind me :D

Yahoo!!!!
Hey there faithful blog followers!
Well this is a very important time in history...want to know why???? Well at 2:00AM our time tomorrow morning the first black president of the United States will offically be sworn in. I am a proud supporter of Barack Obama and believe that he will lead the United States in the right direction and into the future.
I think I know what you want to hear, you want to know if I am going to get out of my warm bed at 2:00AM to watch this historic event....well the answer is no, I won't be emerging from my room and neither will the rest of my family. The reason is that it will be replayed on every single channel at every single news break throughout the day so I will probably get to see Barack Obama being sworn in about a gazillion times!!!!
But still, it is a brilliant achievement for him to even get elected, I feel so proud and I think that this could really help the world. You know, lead us all in the right direction.
But enough about America and Barack Obama. On to what happened yesterday!
Well I had a pretty boring day, just writing my story, reading my book (thanks Amy!), watching TV and playing Guitar Hero (I'm getting good now!)
And then Mum arrived home and we went to visit my godsiblings....Well that was eventful!!!!
The twins, Allysa and Lachlan, were throwing the biggest tantrums the whole entire time!!!!! It was terrible!!!!!!!!! But little Chloe (who has delays) was being the biggest darling ever, she was being so sweet and kind and did everything I asked her to, which is a big change! And she was acting like a big sister to Allysa and Lachlan, when they were throwing tantrums she put her arm around them and comforted them. And then Gail (their mother) was telling Allysa to ask me if she could have a biscuit and Allysa was acting cheeky and just hiding her face and refusing to say anything. Chloe did the most darling thing and nudged Allysa gently and said: 'Ask and you can have a biscuit Ally,' and when Allysa didn't say anything Chloe said it again!!!! This is an amazing improvement for Chloe and I was so proud of her!!!!
Allysa was being very violent towards Chloe, trying to push her down the stairs and things but Chloe just ignored her!!! Chloe took my hand and kept giving me hugs and talking properly to me (ususally I don't understand what she says), it was so great to see her acting like a normal 7 year old!!!
And Chloe was participating in the games and everything, it was brilliant to see her having so much fun and just being a normal little girl....usually she is so tired because of all the tablets she has to take to control her epilepsy but today she wasn't!!!! Dad thinks that it was because she was matured a little and grown taller so her levels have adjusted and she is able to function normally now!!!!!
I was so proud of Chloe but Allysa and Lachlan were being terrible, that was very sad for me to see them throwing so many tantrums and just being naughty kids...They are in desperate need of discipline but I think that their parents are just exhausted from having all three kids home for 6 weeks that they are too tired to follow through with punishments. Because usually they are pretty good at discipline.
But overall I had a good day with them.......Mostly with Chloe, I simply can't express how happy and proud I am!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, today I am going with Mum and Nick to his appointment with someone or other, it's a two hour drive so hopefully I will be able to finish my book....yay!!!

Hello!
Hi there dudes and dudettes!
This is going to be an ultra short post because I am literally exhausted thanks to my dog!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Anyway, today is Monday the 19th of January, I know, I know, I haven't posted since Saturday but on Sunday Amy came over at 1:00 and we had the best time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! But by the time we had done everything we wanted to do it was 6:00pm and Amy had to go home and I had to help prepare dinner and then dinner went late and then I showed my parents my facebook page, if you are on facebook, add me! And then I had to wash up and then I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired that I went straight to bed at 8:30pm.
It was a busy day, so that's why I didn't post yesterday! But anyway, today I am going to be at home and just relaxing because Mum is at work....I might have to fight my brother for custody of the TV because he borrowed the first three Star Wars films from Blockbuster and is determined to watch them all before the end of the holidays.....Damn it! But it's ok because Amy lent me a book that is really good (I'm reading it at the moment, Amy, yay!) So that should be able to keep me occupied when I'm not writing my story....Oh! That's something I haven't told you guys about yet!!!! My latest story.....
Well I got the idea while I was in Gatton, it's something a bit different, a bit of history mixed in with a bit of fiction...I think you call it Historical Fiction, yeah that's it!! Well anyway I won't tell you too much about it except that it is going to have a sad ending which you won't see coming and it also involves bushrangers and a 15 year old girl (she ages to 23 by the end) Hopefully it will be enjoyed by everyone and I fully intend to try my hand at sending it to a publisher once I have finished it....and if one publisher rejects it then I will send it to another one....Did you know that Harry Potter got rejected by about 8 publishers before it got published????? And now it's an international bestseller!!!!! Those 8 publishers must be kicking themselves now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I will send this story to a certain few of my friends to read and edit and help me polish it before I send it to the publishers, so you guys will all be a part of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll go on this journey together I promise!!!!!!
School will be restarting soon and I am very excited, that is why I am not posting every day because my life is starting to get majorly busy again!!!!!!!!!! Though I will still keep this blog going when school starts again....I promise, my life will be extremely exciting then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways this afternoon I am going to visit my godsiblings, Allysa, Lachlan and Chloe...I am very excited about that so I will write about it tomorrow...YAY!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi there faithful blog followers!
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry that I haven't written for 5 whole days, I am sure you are all crying your little hearts out wondering if I am ok and what I have been up to....lol, that is a funny thought!
Anyways yesterday (Friday 16th) at 5:00pm I got home from my bestie Morgan's house in Gatton. I had the greatest time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got there on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00pm and we went to buy baby chickens for their family!!! We bought four little ones......One for each of the girls!! They were so cute and we spent hours and hours cuddling them!!!
Then on Wednesday night we watched Mamma Mia, that movie is so awesome.....Someone should really tell Pierce Brosnan never to sing again, although he is a great actor and an absolute hottie!!! Sorry about that, I know he is like 50 but still he was the best James Bond ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, then we went to bed and talked for like an hour about anything and everything in the world (that is why she is my bestie because she rules!!!!!)
So on Thursday we woke up at 9:00 and had to rush to get ready to go to the Darling Downs Zoo. We got there and looked at all the animals, there were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many!!!!! I bought five peacock feathers at their gift shop (that cost me $5.00) and I also found another one so now there are 6 peacock feathers sitting in a vase in my room, they are gorgeous!!! Going to the zoo was great, me and Morgan had a great time!!!!!
While we were there we saw a Llama, which was really odd looking....so we were feeding it animal pellets that we were given on entry to the zoo when suddenly he sneezed.....ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ended up with animal pellets all over my face, on my chin and in my chair!!!!!! Morgie had to help me clean it off using a hat, it was really funny!!!!! I mean come on, how many people can honestly say that they have been spat on by a llama???? Not many at all!!!!!
Then we left the zoo and went to Toowoomba to go shopping, I bought a cute necklace from Diva and Morgie bought a headband for school.
Then we got home and played some more with the chickens. That night we watched The Devil Wears Prada (another classic Meryl Streep movie) I absolutely love any movie with Anne Hathaway in it, she is a fabulous actress!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So then we went to bed early without talking much at all because we were both sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo exhausted!!!!!!!
On Thursday we just hung out around the house and had the greatest time, we get along so well and laugh and joke the whole time!!!! I won't tell you everything because it is my special time with Morgie (I only get to see her 4 times a year!) that I want to keep close to me.
So now I am here, writing this to you guys......Hopefully you are all reading this because you love me, yay!! I am excited about school and will be getting my supplies and stuff on Thursday.
TTYL,
Jess (very happy but extremely exhausted!!!!!)

Greatest Day in the History of the World (oh, and my newest rant!)
Hi there dudes and dudettes!
I am going to say this straight out right this minute:
If any one of you ever regrets something you have done or start to think that if you hadn't have done something than none of this would have happened I have some advice for you: HUMANS MAKE MISTAKES!!! IF WE DIDN'T MAKE MISTAKES THEN WE WOULD BE ROBOTS AND I PERSONALLY DON'T WANT TO BE A ROBOT BECAUSE:
A) They don't have personalities
and
B)They don't wear clothes!
So please people stop beating yourselves up about everything that you have ever done wrong or that you think you could have done better!!!!! It's our errors and mistakes that teach us to be better people....Besides, think how boring our lives would be if we didn't make mistakes!! If we didn't make mistakes we wouldn't learn valuable life lessons and we would all be absolutely perfect which would make us pretty vain and obsessed with ourselves which would make the world absolutely horrible!!!
So, instead of beating yourselves about your mistakes instead try thinking: 'Yeah that didn't go so well, what could I do better next time?'
Try thinking in positives rather than negatives, trust me, you will feel heaps better and be a lot more opptimistic!!! Try listening to the song: 'Always look on the Bright Side of Life' that is a really cool song...it's from the Monty Python musical Spamalot...Just try listening to it!!!
Right, my rant is now over. So I will tell you about my extremely fun day!!!!! I was at home, bored, and Amy and I had worked out that she could come over for a while to escape the pandemonium of her house (her little sister Zoe had a friend over, so it was mad!) So, Amy came over here and we had the BEST TIME IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD!!!! I won't tell you all the details because I want to preserve them forever in my memory. But we played Wii, mostly Mario Kart which was awesome! And we bounced on the trampoline and talked heaps and heaps and heaps!!! We are such chatterboxes!!!
But we discovered that Amy had read my mind or, as she likes to put it, manipulate my thoughts!!! She knows whether I am concentrating on a topic or not and knows what I am actually thinking about....How creepy is that???????? But anyways, we had the best time and have decided to go bike riding this Wednesday morning...early!!! Part of our fitness kick...I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!! Looks like Wednesday is shaping up to be a fantastic day, what with the bike ride and going up to Gatton to see Morgie!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow will be very boring, I'll probably be doing ironing and packing my bag in preparation for going to Morgie's. But I will probably be online a bit so come online and talk to me (that's for my friends!)
Oops, I have to go and have dinner!
TTYL,

Tomorrow Never Comes
Hi there guys and girls!
This'll be a short post, tired again!!! I had a big day today.....Well not really but this afternoon was big! I went to the Hyperdome with Lauren and I spent all my money at the Arcade....well worth it for an afternoon of fun! But now I am broke and I want to buy the final Princess Diaries book which came out on Tuesday.....Oh well, back to the saving box for me!
Anyway, sorry for not posting yesterday I was really busy....when am I ever not? I made fudge and I also had to cook dinner for the family (Mum makes me cook a meal every week on the holidays) I made Quiche....it tasted yummy!!! I was really worried I was going to burn it or something but it turned out really well....I was really proud of myself!
Anyway, today I went to the gym with Mum and that was really good fun!!! Then we went to do the grocery shopping....well that was interesting too lol!
I made fudge yesterday which I was really proud of and then I ate like four pieces today....It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yummy!
Then this afternoon, as I have already said, Lauren and I went to the arcade and had an awesome time...Then we went to diva because they had a sale but I had run out of money....Lauren to the rescue!!! Lauren found a twenty dollar note (don't ask me how you could lose one!) So she bought this butterfly hair clip and a cassette necklace, both were really pretty. Then she decided to treat me to something in the shop...I chose this awesome gold bracelet with elephants all over it...It was beautiful and Lauren bought it for me!!! How sweet!
Then I got home and now I am talking to Kitty about our production (Eight: The Legend of Hachi Fields) and giving her a tour of the house (via webcam).
My brother has agreed to help us edit the movie (yay!) and help us with cinematography without going to the shoots. So he is going to give me a crash course in cinematography which is really sweet of him!
I am really excited now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think we might be able to pull it off!!!!!!!! Most of mine and Kitty's friends are involved so it will be fun...If you want to be involved and you are a friend of ours then just leave me a comment or send me an email and we'll see what we can do!!!
Very excited but now I have to go!!!! Dinner and talking awaits me!!! Queen of Chatter.
TTYL,
Jess (I love you all!!!! Future actress/writer/teacher on the way!!!!)

Everything!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!
Hey there guys and girls!
Oh my god! An awesome song just came on the radio: Love Story by Taylor Swift, I love this song....It's gorgeous, it makes me want to have a Romeo even more.
Though I am not going to make this post about love and romance, I already have made enough posts about that!
No, today's post is going to be about....let me see.....just everything I guess! I have so many great things happening to me at the moment! And one special thing that I won't tell you about, but it's making me so happy...I don't know why!!
Today Mum and I went to Target and got her some new clothes (for work and for home) all her old clothes are falling apart! It was brilliant to spend time with her and she offered to take me to Jay Jays at the Hyperdome so I could spend my gift voucher!
So we went there on our way to the gym and I bought this awesome black shirt dress...sounds weird doesn't it? But it's really cool....At least I think so!!! Mum went quiet when she saw me try it on and could only say that it looked really good. So, after I bought it, I asked Mum what was wrong and she said that it was just that I looked so beautiful in it and so grown up that she was speechless....How sweet is that?! I am so lucky to have a Mum that compliments me heaps, I swear I will have a massive ego by the time you guys see me again!!!
We worked out pretty hard at the gym which was nice, it feels good to know that you are doing something to keep fit, you know? It was great to be there with Mum, I love hanging out with her...I know, I'm a dork, so sue me ok?
When we got home it was just the two of us because Dad was at work and Nick was at a friend's house (he still is there) it was nice to be there just with Mum, we did what we wanted but there was a real sense of friendship there, you know? It's weird to say but Mum and I are really good friends, we both trust each other immensely and I know that I can tell her anything and everything...She's already been through everything that I'm going through (teenage years!) and has so much knowledge and advice that she can offer me....We just get along really well!
So this afternoon I checked my emails and there was a message from a place called Write4Fun, I entered one of their competitions when I was in grade 6 and my story got put into their book (with about a gazillion other stories by kids so it doesn't really matter, besides they stuffed up my story and others stories by making typing errors all over them!) But anyway, I got this email from there talking about their new competition....So I decided to enter, problem: Short Stories may not exceed 500 words....HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But anyway, I worked all afternoon and managed to come up with a story, the main character is called Ren (based on Lauren) anyway it's not my best work, very hard to work within a tiny word limit, but I am still proud of it and fully intend on entering.
I will keep you guys updated on how it all goes!!!!
Anyway I should probably go do something else other than writing this blog entry, I have some chores to do before bed (I am sooooooooooooooooo tired) I am trying to have early nights in preparation for my two night sleepover at Morgie's house....SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!! We talked this evening and we still get along like a house on fire, it's awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I love spending time with her, as I have already said!!!
By the way I think Mum might have talked to Dad because last night (after I wrote my entry) and tonight he has been so nice to me, really complimentary and he is letting me talk seriously without teasing me and making jokes and is showing his affection in nice ways....I love him so much, nicest, kindest, most considerate Dad in the universe!!!!!!!
Anyway I have a final message for you guys:
Get to know your parents, seriously most of the time they are pretty cool....If you get past the facts of life (eg. they are going to embarass you at some point! It'll either be soon or later!) But honestly, they have been through everything that we are going through at the moment and they have come out unscathed (pretty awesome feat!!!) Also you would be surprised by what they got up to during their teenage years, if you have relationship troubles they probably know exactly what you are talking about and can offer some worthwhile advice...advice that will last you forever and make you feel heaps better.
So stop reading this blog and go talk to your parents or parent!!! Spend some time with them, shopping and stuff, often they are awesome fun and make trustworthy and worthwhile friends....You share a bond with them that can never be broken.
TTYL,
Jess (I love my whole family, Mum, Dad, Nick, and I love my friends!)

Family/Girl stuff
Hey there faithful bloggers!
Sorry for the guys out there reading my blog because this is going to be a very girl orientated post....Keep reading by all means but don't say I haven't warned you!!
Well it is offical, I hate periods....For those girls out there who have not yet experienced these 'womanly wonders' you are extremely lucky!!! For a week every month I get the worst PMS, I am talking cramps (that squeezing sensation), sore legs, irritability the whole lot.
Though I probably get pretty mild PMS compared to others but to me it is like hell!!!
I have come up with a plan though, and here it is....Make guys have something that makes them feel like hell once a month!!! That will make all us girls feel better right? Then at least it's not just us!!!!
Sorry, I've had my rant now...It's just that I hate my PMS, yucky!
Ok, moving on now....I miss the object of my affection, god I sound like a stalker!
Just a warning, I am not a stalker...Please don't leave me friends!!!
I don't know why I miss him, I guess it's just that he is the cutest, funniest, nicest guy I know...He always makes me laugh and look at things in a different way.
I can trust him completely.
Maybe I should name him, but I would rather not....I miss him guys, please save me from myself!! But the thing is I don't even have the guts to ever say anything to him!! Boy am I ever in a deep hole?!
Also my brother is being a complete jerk! He always slams my taste in music, constantly!!! I only slam his every two months at the most but he slams mine everytime we are in the car together and listening to the radio!!!
Worse than that, my dad slams my taste in music too......It's like my family turns against me....I love them dearly, don't get me wrong, but sometimes they irritate me so much that I just want to...I don't know, ok, that's the PMS talking. But seriously they do annoy me sometimes, except for Mum, she is the best Mum in the world.
She never annoys me on purpose and we go shopping and everything together...Which we did today, that was nice...I really enjoyed it, we have the same taste. Kind of weird but also nice!
Anyway, do you want to know what my brother said when Beyonce's Single Ladies came on the radio???? He said that it was sung by whores!!! So I said it was only sung by one person and he said 'One whore then,' and I said 'She just got married,' and he said 'Probably her 8th marriage' and I said 'No, it's her first.'
That shut him up!!! Thank god! I don't think I could have stood any more!!!
My dad confuses me, he constantly teases me and sometimes it's funny but other times it is just annoying..
For example, last night I had just gotten home from Amy's house (the best time EVER!!!!!! btw) and I was talking about it and he just kept teasing and teasing me about everything, even when I was trying to talk about something serious. So I said 'I wish I had stayed at Amy's' I expected something from him but all I got was Mum saying: 'No honey, we'd miss you too much.' At least Mum would miss me! As for the others, I don't think they really care.
It's like that line from Gone With The Wind: 'Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.'
Ouch, that line hurts, it's like an arrow straight to the heart!!
But seriously, dad makes fun of everything I say...For example, I am trying to talk about something that interests me, a serious news article about O.J. Simpson and Dad makes it into some big joke and teasefest!! But then if Nick is talking about something like Politics, Dad is all ears and doesn't make a single joke!!!! But if I try to tell them my opinion on something political Dad teases me about it...again!!!
I asked Mum about it last night and she just said that that is the way he shows affection, because he comes from a family where they didn't show much physical affection so he is trying to be affectionate to me.
I asked why he doesn't tease Nick then and Mum said that in Dad's family they didn't show much affection to the guys, I guess that makes sense....I sure hope that is what it is because then I might be able to tolerate it!
Anyway I have to go to dinner, joy! At least I have Mum, she understands me and takes me seriously.

Well howdy!
Howdy partners!
I have no idea why I just wrote that, I am a bit nuts today, it is excitement! No idea why I am feeling western though, ha ha!
Well I believe I should tell you all that I offically have the best friends in the entire world! I know I have told you all this before but I especially mean it today.
Let me give you a run down of some of them:
Kitty: Enthusiastic, funny and generally really happy (my adopted little sister) today she surprised me by coming up with the idea of turning the story (the beginning of which I have posted here on my blog) into a film (of course made by the two of us with help from our siblings, good old brother Nick), I thought that that was a great idea! Of course some of the story will have to be changed as some of it is a bit inapproriate but it will still be cool....Hopefully we can pull it off!
Amy: Funny and extremely similar to me, we are always on the same wavelength, we know each other's thoughts and both write stories relgiously (check out her story at www.amy-is-awesome.blogspot.com)Yesterday we were even watching the same TV programs without knowing it! Today she surprised me with a Chrissie present (a bit late but who cares!) I can hardly believe it myself but her present to me was...do you remember the story I said that I lost on my USB? Well I forgot that I had sent 27 out of the 40 pages to her so she could read it....Well she found those 27 pages and sent them back to me!!!! So really I only lost 13 pages....Is that awesome or what???
Tristan: Ok, the only friend of mine who is a boy (oh wait...there's Manny too) he is funny and always there for me when I need him. He might annoy me to bits but I still love him (as a friend) He didn't do anything particulary special today...Just chatted to me as usual and was his normal funny self...which is pretty special.
Morgan: Ok, not many of you know Morgie but she has been my best friend since Kindergarten...The two of us were often mistaken for twins! Absolutely brilliant at drawing and beautiful inside and out...I can tell her everything. She now lives in Gatton after moving to Darwin when we were in grade 3 (most heartbreaking moment of my life) I see her every holiday for a sleepover. She called me today and we organised a holiday over her house..YAY!!!!!!!!!!!I want to give her an extra special shout-out for sticking by me during all my craziness over the years! Wow! A decade of friendship this year...Go us Morgie!!! Love you forever Morgie, one day we'll ride horses together, I promise!
Jen: Again, she didn't do anything special for me today but I just want to give her a shout out anyway because I love her to bits to! Love ya Jen! Hang in there and we'll come save you when school is back!!!! Talk to us sometime!
Ash: My little pocket-rocket....Tiny but mighty and a great friend to me...Again I haven't even spoken to her today but I love her anyway.
See you when school is back, stick in there with Karic, and I promise that you'll be rescued!!
Kit-Kat (Segovic): I didn't even speak to her today but I love her anyway...She's a whizz on any instrument she picks up!! I don't know where I'd be without you, my saxophone playing would be a lot worse, that's for sure!! Love you!
Lauren: Ahhh....My little nutty Naruto Fan Girl! How do I describe Lauren? Oh I know! Absolutely nuts!!!!! I love you Lauren, you rule....Go the uniqueness and the unconess!!!!!!! Forever my little unco, nutty, Naruto Fan Girl Lauren....Love you!! Hope Kyle isn't driving you nuts!
Manny: I have only gotten to know Manny this last term but he is a pretty cool guy..Hilarious sense of humour and just generally fun to be around.
I won't forget the chats when we were both sick at the beginning of holidays, we made a sorry pair!! But talking to you made me feel heaps better Manny! Thanks for cheering me up! Keep up the sax practise!(he he!)
Ok, I am sure I have missed some people but I won't use up any more room saying how awesome you all are!! Email me or leave me a comment if I missed you and I promise that you will be added on to the next blog!
Today was pretty boring, I went to the gym, came home and talked to my friends for the rest of the afternoon.
When Morgie called I was pretty distracted with some friend stuff that was happening so again, I'm sorry if I acted really distracted and unenthusiastic this afternoon Morgie.....I still love you!!
Anyway I am excited about tomorrow because I am going over to Amy's house for a sleepover...So excited!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
And then on Wednesday the 14th I am going to Gatton to visit Morgie for 2 whole nights!!!!!!!!! That is super exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!!!!!!
YAY for my friends!!!!! And sorry for all the punctuation.
Just to let you guys know that even though we might be making this film of my story which will involve changes I promise that I will finish the story in its entireity and not change any of the bits in there.
Well, I had a boring morning but it changed when my friends crowded around...You guys make my life fun!!! I love you all so much, you don't even know it!
Anyway onto a different topic, I have a special little message:
Jett Travolta (the son of actor John Travolta) passed away tragically on the 1st of January 2009. My heart is with the Travoltas, Kelly, John and their daughter, Ella, during this particulary difficult time. Jett Travolta was only 16 and I know that John, Kelly and Ella must be devestated. I hope you will all pray for them to have strength and also pray for Jett. He is at peace now. RIP Jett Travolta, our hearts are with you and your family.
Anyway, I have to go now, I love you all so much...Thank you for making my life so exciting and happy. I have a film going on at the moment, with friends working with me on equal terms to make it happen (Kitty is basically in charge! Yay!) and a story that's going well and friends who support me through it all. I am extremely lucky.
TTYL,
Jess (excited and over the moon about everything!)

Today
Hey there faithful readers!
It seems that I am writing this blog just for my own amusement, I have not received a comment from anyone for weeks!
Oh well, if I am writing this for my own amusement it may be quite a short post. I am exhausted yet again because I have just returned from visiting my Grandma. Mum and I had to move around all her furniture in her bedroom and I am proud to say that it now looks heaps better! I also quite enjoyed it and Grandma told me that she wants a postcard sized photograph of me to put on her bedside table. That's really sweet of her, isn't it? (Oh wait I'm talking to myself) She is so nice to me.
Mum and I then went to the Fruit & Vege shop and we had a massive chat, I love it when we go out together, we always have these really big talks and I love them. Mum and I talk about absolutely everything, it's really awesome! She's the best mother in the world and doesn't meddle at all.
Anyway, my day was extremely boring, no one was online and all I could do was write my story, but I have the worst Writer's Block at the moment! You know, everything I write just leads to a dead end. It's ok though because my Writer's Block usually only lasts a day or two, which is great because I have heard of some authors getting Writer's Block that lasts for months. I couldn't stand that, my stories are like my children, I couldn't live without them.
Anyway, I am going to go back to watching TV (I love you all very very much) before I was watching Bewitched and now I am watching Australian Story. It is 5:43pm on Saturday 3rd of January.
TTYL,
Jess (I love you all, please post comments)

It's ok though because my Writer's Block usually only lasts a day or two, which is great because I have heard of some authors getting Writer's Block that lasts for months. I couldn't stand that, my stories are like my children, I couldn't live without them.
Anyway, I am going to go back to watching TV (I love you all very very much) before I was watching Bewitched and now I am watching Australian Story. It is 5:43pm on Saturday 3rd of January.
TTYL,
Jess (I love you all, please post comments)

Yard Work (me as the actress!) That makes no sense, he he!
Hey there guys and girls!
Well today has been a pretty average day so this post will be quite short. Also I am trying to get a lot done on my story (word count: 13,559) and I can't bear to be away from my characters for too long.
Anyway after I wrote my entry yesterday I went swimming with my parents and brother...It was the best thing ever! We were all so relaxed and we were laughing and joking. Nick and I tried to carry Mum and Dad across the pool on our backs (needless to say we failed miserably but it was fun!) Dad chucked me in the water and I did this backflip as I was falling, it was scary but awesome!
Also Nick carried me across the pool on my back and I was doing a chant that went like this: 'Dit dit dit dit di da! JESS!' and when I shouted out 'JESS' Nick would tip me backwards so I almost fell off.
Then we swapped and I did the same thing to Nick, though he almost drowned me! I can't remember the last time I had that much fun with my brother, I love him, even though I hate to admit it. We have the best time together!
Anyway on to today (2nd of January, in case you don't know!) this morning I was given the shocking news that the whole family was doing gardening this morning.
In case you were still asleep let me tell you something: IT WAS FLIPPING HOT!!!!!!!
But I still had a good time, to make the time go quicker I pretended that I was a famous actress and that there were photographers leaning over the fence and taking photos of me and my family working in the garden. I wrote whole magazine articles in my head talking about me working in the yard. Here's an example:
'It was a working holiday for actress Jessica Kraak (who broke onto the scene when she was plucked from obscurity to play Prudence King in Love Lessons, the movie version of Jacqueline Wilson's best selling book, reviews were very complimentary about this outstanding new actress). She and her family, including brother Nicholas, were out in their back garden working hard at clearing away the leaf litter in their garden. Jessica begin off being in charge of cutting off the dead branches of palm trees but then graduated to being in charge of loading and emptying the wheelbarrow. Jessica happily posed for photographs as she and her mother wheeled the wheelbarrow out onto a spare block of land and emptied it before calling their dog and going back for another load. Jessica looked positively glowing, dressed very casual in a black shirt and beige shorts. No make-up was needed to make this gorgeous girl look like an angel (though a sweaty one) Clearly the gardener was on holiday as the family spent two and a half hours outside before retiring back to their house. During that time Jessica went inside and brought drinks out for the rest of the family. Photographers were relentless, leaning over the fences desperate for a shot of the 14 year old actress. Jessica didn't seem to mind however and even chatted to a few. Her new film 'Winging It' the first in the series of Angel Agent movies adapted from the book by Annie Dalton is due to begin filming in two weeks.'
Well that's one of the articles I thought about. It makes me sound very self-centered doesn't it? If you are wondering those two 'films' I said that I acted in the fact is that they are actually favourite books of mine. Love Lessons is a beautiful book which I highly recommend to everyone and the Agent Angel series is so uplifting.
When I read the first book in the Agent Angel series (Winging It) I felt such a connection to the main character, Mel Beeby, I don't know. I just thought that if there was ever a movie made of the book I would positively die if I wasn't acting in it.
I'm a freak right? You are about to tell me that I am nuts and very self-centered right? Ah well, it's just a fantasy I created to get me through the morning of yard work. Pity it isn't true! If it were true then this blog would be so popular!
He he, I am getting so self-centered...gosh! I need my friends to bring me back to earth.
Oh well, I should get back to my story, yet again I have gotten distracted!
TTYL,
Jess (loving all my friends!)

2009 is HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey there everyone!
Well it's finally happened.....We have finally left 2008 behind us as of 12:00 midnight last night!
IT IS NOW OFFICALLY 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!
It's a chance to start fresh, I hope you guys are all planning your New Year's Resolutions with expert precision. I sure have been planning mine!
I had the best New Year's Eve ever!!!!!!! We went up to my Uncle Trevor's house, arriving at about 10:30.
We had lunch at 11:30 and then Uncle Trev and Dad went off to have a game of golf (they're absolutely nuts, it was boiling outside!) Mum, Nick and I then went off to Springbrook which is part of the Lamington National Park (a massive collection of rainforests up the coast of Queensland)
We drove up a terribly curving road, it just kept winding around and around the hill going higher and higher and higher!
We finally got to the top and walked a short distance to the 'Best of All' lookout. The view from there was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! You could see the coast so clearly and you could see Mount Warning and everything! I read the sign and discovered that the lookout was actually built on an eroded volcano! I was standing on a volcano! It was incredible, I still can't get over it!
So then we walked back to the car and drove a little further to the start of the 'Twin Falls Circuit.' The Twin Falls Circuit is a walk that takes you through the rainforest, through caves and everything, and all the way to these incredible waterfalls, there are two of them coincidently, he he! You get to walk behind the falls, the spray hits you and it is so deliciously cold, wonderful.
The walk was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The rock that made the caves felt so soft and gentle, yet it was built so strongly, what am I talking about? Built? How can a cave be built? It is made by Mother Nature but it looked as though it had been made by an architect! We walked past the most magnificent plants, so lush and green. We walked past this lizard three times! It was pure black and didn't seem to be scared of people at all! We got so many photos of it, it seemed to be saying: "Where do you want me?" It was hilarious!
But the most magnificent thing of all was when we got to the Twin Falls! The water was ice cold but when we walked directly behind them, it felt magical, as though you were entering a different world. If you have seen Bridge to Terebithia you will know what I am talking about, it felt and looked exactly like that!
When we passed around the side of the waterfalls we walked along a concrete bridge which was so close to the lake where the waterfalls emptied into that you could touch the water.
Ah, let me tell you about the lake. It was full of the most wonderfully coloured water you have ever seen. It wasn't just blue, it carried so many different colours in it, it was beautiful. I bent down and touched the water, it was like ice! So freezing cold!
Anyway, the walk was the most amazing way to finish off 2008!
When we got back home, we waited for Uncle Trev and Dad to get home. Then we all had dinner, played a board game (Spicks and Specks if you are wondering) then Nick and I had an argument about whether to watch Hot Fuzz (One of Nick's fav DVD's) or Get Smart (one of my fav DVD's. In the end I let Nick have his way and we watched Hot Fuzz, much to my annoyance.
However I was surprised, it was brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Funny, yet touching and even frightening in a few parts! Oh and the main character was very cute....Though nothing compared to my object of affection....He he! They actually look rather similar!
But the movie finished at 11:00 so I suggested we start watching Get Smart. We watched about half the movie then we switched over to Channel Ten and watched the countdown and the fireworks...
However this year we didn't shout out Happy New Year, we gave each other hugs and whispered Happy New Year in each other's ears instead, it felt a lot more personal and family orientated. We then watched the fireworks before deciding to finish watching Get Smart.
So in the end I only got to bed at 1:30, it was great though I am now so exhausted!
However the whole start of 2009 has been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!
It is boiling hot here and I wish I had some relief from the stupid heat!
Ah well, only a few more days then I can go to Amy's for a sleepover, hurray! I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited, it will be heaps of fun (I hope!)
Anyways, I have to go....I love you all and hope you had just as fun a New Year's eve as I did!
Oh by the way I've used the word so much in this post that I believe that 2009 will be: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
TTYL,
Jess (signing off for the first time in 2009!)
P.S: By the way, the date for this post is wrong it's not the 31st of December, it's the 1st of January as I certainly know!
