Hey there dudes and dudettes!
Well I am really really excited, it is almost 2009! Hurray!!!! I probably won't be able to write a post tomorrow as we are leaving early to go up to my Uncle's house.
So my next post will offically be on the 1st of January 2009!!! How awesome is that????
I am excited about 2009, grade 9 is coming!!!! That is awesome because I get to do: Drama, Music and History!! How cool is that????
Sorry about all the punctuation but I am that excited about 2009!!!!!
Well I didn't get any comments on my last post so I am assuming that some of you guys aren't so open about homosexuals and bisexuals? Ah well, don't stress over it....I'll win you over sometime soon, just joking, what you want to believe is your choice.
Now, what can I talk about??? Well I am reading a totally awesome book at the moment called 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' it is all about friendship and is very touching.
In case I haven't told you guys this already I am eternally grateful to all my friends for being....well for being my friends! I love you all so much and you have all helped to shape me into what I am today, which is something good I hope!
So, here's the deal:
On the 1st of January I will write a post and on it I will tell you my New Year's Resolutions. Then my friends you can help me keep them! Ooh, what fun! But no pinching/tickling/anything else like that to try to get me to keep them...be gentle!
Well onto a totally different topic I am lovesick at the moment....You know how sometimes you just start wishing you had someone special or that you would have a majorly romantic moment...You know what I mean, you meet someone's eyes and everything just clicks into place.....That sort of thing. Well that's the way I am at the moment, but the problem is everytime I try to see my perfect guy his face is blank, I don't see anyone I know....It's driving me nuts!
Ah well, guys aren't everything right? Right? RIGHT?????????????????????????
Na, it's cool, I know they aren't everything....I would much rather get good grades and have awesome friends than have the perfect boyfriend.
Wait a moment, I already have the most awesome fantastic wonderful friends in the world, so that's ticked off my list......Now I just have to look after my friends and my grades in the new year and I'll be all set!
Anyway on a completely different topic I am now really really worried about my friend, Tristan, he hasn't contacted me or any of my other friends in 7/8 days, this is really unusual for him because usually he contacts either me or my friend Katarina every two days. I called his mobile but he didn't answer so I left him a voicemail message which he still hasn't returned.
Tristan, if you are reading this please call me or Katarina because I am really worried about you, I hope everything's ok, I hope you're ok, same with your family. Please just contact us, we are really worried about you. Hope you aren't sick or have any broken bones after Christmas. Please please please contact me, I miss you.
Anyway, that's my little message to Tristan....It's starting to worry me, though he is probably just mucking around with his family or visiting his grandparents or something. But still, you know, there's that little bit of worry in my mind.
But anyway, hope you guys manage to stay up till midnight tomorrow night....I sure will be!!!!! I can't wait, it's going to be awesome. Though what usually happens is I stay up till midnight and then shout out "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" and then I fall asleep almost straight away!! That's about the extent of my partying, it works for me anyway. Usually I'm asleep by 9:30 so midnight is really really really late for me...Which means I get ultra excited for the few days before New Year's Eve.
Now I have to go because I have people pestering me to hurry up and finish this post.
Hope you have an awesome New Year's Eve and I will speak to you in 2009....Just this once I am going to sign off differently (Sorry Lauren, this requires using your word!)
'Dios,
Jess! (Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited about 2009!!!!)

Great great great great great great great day!
Hey there guys and girls!
Well I had an awesome day today...I went to Southbank with Kitty and Ash and that was really really cool.
We went swimming, made sandcastles (it's a little kid thing but it's actually really fun!) then Kitty and I buried Ash and made her look like a mermaid....it actually looked really good! I was impressed at our artisitic ability!
We also had sand fights, but we were very careful not to hit other people....Ash and Kitty got more sand on them than I did because I didn't chase after them with sand (that's a perk of being a goody goody!)
We had donuts and other junk for lunch which was really cool. Then we swam some more and caught the bus to Garden City to do some shopping. Everything is really expensive at the moment, how annoying!
But anyways I brought this really cute skirt that is all flowery and summery, just like me! (I hope!)
I also brought two packets of six bracelets, all proceeds going to 'Reach Out' which is a youth organisation. I got four of them and gave four to both Kitty and Ash. Two of them say words and the other two are just coloured bands.
My two word ones say: Strength and the other one says Respect.
I am glad I got those two words because those are two things that are very important to me. I believe that all people deserve Respect, no matter what. You also must have Respect for yourself and your opinons.
I believe that Strength is very important took. I don't think that anyone is born with Strength, I believe that it you grow strength, the strength to cope with anything life throws at you. I also believe that you need strength to help your friends and loved ones when things get tough for them. It can be hard trying to be a tower of strength, you need strength to be able to remain optimistic no matter what.
Hopefully I possess both those things! Respect and Strength, respect and strength, respect and strength.
After shopping we took the bus home so I got home at 4:30pm.....I've just been relaxing but now I'm ready to write!
Anyway, just surfing the web tonight I realised something. So many people have extremely narrow minds. I am going to lay down a few facts right now!
1. Homosexuals/bisexuals are not freaks
2. Being either homosexual or bisexual does not make a person bad or cruel
3. Homosexuals and bisexuals deserve respect just like straight people
4. Homosexuality and bisexuality have been traced back to DNA, so stop critcising homosexuals and bisexuals....They didn't do anything wrong!
5. Religion is a choice
6. People should not be allowed to try to convert people
7. Tolerance is the main thing taught in all religions but does anyone practise it?
That's about all the points I have to say at the moment, but I hope that makes you think!
I love you all but now I have to go have dinner.
TTYL,
Jess (very tired after a great day!)

Santa Claus Has Come To Town!
Hi there faithful blog followers!
Well I haven't written for ages! It's been a great last four days, Christmas has been come and gone! We now have to wait a whole another year to spend time with our families and.....who could forget? PRESENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know about you guys but I had a brilliant Christmas! I spent it with my grandparents up in Bundaberg. We were there with my parents, brother and uncle.
It was a small group compared to last year, when we had about 24 people at each meal (all family!)
We left home at 3:30pm on Christmas Eve and arrived at my grandparents' house at approximately 8:30pm that night. So nothing much happened that night except we settled in. We also found out that the Christmas Day church service started at 7:30am! Well after that startling news we decided to hit the sack, we needed all the sleep we could get!
I got the best room which was Grandma's study while Nick was stuck in with my uncle in the front bedroom where the traffic woke you promptly each morning at 3:30am. Ha! Sucked in brother!
Well the next day was CHRISTMAS DAY of course! I woke up early and found my Christmas stocking hanging on my cupboard door. It was absolutely full! Brilliant! Although I don't believe in Santa Claus and have told my parents so, they still fill my stocking as though Santa Claus has actually come, they are great parents that way!
I opened my stocking and found a beautiful white leather handbag, a 2009 Horse calender (I love horses) and a bar of dream chocolate!
Then it was time to get dressed in my Christmas dress and have a rushed breakfast before departing to church.
It was a horrible service, full of racist and sexist remarks, however that is what you get for having my grandfather as the pastor.
It was an agonizing two hours but I am used to it. Joy!
Though when we got home everything certainly brightened up! All of us worked together and fixed a delcious brunch (chicken, lollies, chocolate, biscuits, dip etc. etc.)
Once we had eaten that out on the patio near the Christmas Tree we got to the real business of the morning, opening presents! I got to be Santa and hand out the presents!
I got:
A hairclip and some cocount ice (Grandma and Grandpa)
A book and a Jay Jays gift card (Uncle Trevor)
A Paramore cd (Nick)
A Simpsons dvd (Mum & Dad)
A Princess Diaries book (Mum & Dad)
A MOBILE PHONE (Mum & Dad)
I got the best mobile phone in the world!!!!!! Well to me anyway, it is a red Motorola RAZR V3i, look it up on google images if you want to know what it looks like!
Anyways, then in the afternoon everyone had naps except for me (even the dog was asleep!) I mostly wrote my story, played with my mobile phone and made a video so I can show all my friends what the house looks like.
Finally everyone woke up and Dad, Mum, Nick, Uncle Trevor and I went to the beach, it was awesome! The water was absolutely beautiful! The beach was almost deserted when we got in but by the time we got out it was packed!!! Though still gorgeous! We went to the Innes Park beach if anyone wants to know.
Then we had Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings and that was really nice.
So, on to Boxing Day which happens to be my Grandad's birthday.....We had breakfast and then Uncle Trevor and I went to the Boxing Day sales so he could get some shirts that were on sale.
However all the shops were closed! Pretty weird considering that the catalogues for those stores had advertised BOXING DAY SALES!!!!!!!! So we just went to Maccas and then went home.
The day was pretty fun and we went to the beach yet again which was awesome!!!!
That night we went to Sizzler's to celebrate Grandad's birthday and that was really really fun! The outfit I wore was:
Three quarter black tailored pants
A black high necked top with white trim
And
Black high heels
I think that this outfit would make awesome date outfit if it were a night-time date....
Anyways the next day (aka today) we ate an early breakfast and came home....
I am absolutely exhausted!!! I think I need a massive sleep before New Year's Eve... I am excited already about 2009, I think it holds promise!
Anyways, hope you guys had just as fun a Christmas as I did!
TTYL,
Jess
P.S: I know the date above this blog says that it is the 26th of December but it is really the 27th! It just says that because the time is really really stuffed up!

Everything is Perfect for Christmas
Hey there,
Well this may be the last post for a while and it will probably be a short one. There won't be any internet in Bundaberg which is where I will be from tomorrow until the 27th. We don't leave until 3:30 tomorrow afternoon (Christmas Eve) but I will be busy cooking all day with Mum, we are cooking a chicken to take for Christmas Day and meringues and stuff like that, it is going to be awesome!
I just want to let all you guys know that everything has been sorted out, I am very happy at the moment because I know now that ALL my friends are awesome, every single one of them, even the boy who caused me all this trouble.
He is truly sweet and has probably been reading my blog because he sent me a gorgeous apology which was his own personal version of the apology I wrote in my blog yesterday!
I guess everything has been worked out ready for Christmas, all my friends are the best and I am very very happy. I am looking forward to spending Christmas with my family and then spending some time just relaxing before coming back home.
After I come home everything is going to be busy before 2009 arrives, I am planning heaps of cool activities for me now that I have recovered from my first year of High School.
I have decided that I am going to do some New Year's Resolutions on New Year's Eve. I have always thought that this was a stupid tradition, I mean you never keep your resolutions anyway. But I have now realised that this tradition isn't silly, it's not about actually achieving your goals (though it's good if you do!) it's actually about acknowledging stuff you can improve on and making a promise to yourself that you will at least try to improve.
Well my promises (which I haven't figured out yet) are going to be done in front of all my friends. How will I do this? Well I will post my New Year's Resolutions on this blog. Then you can all help me to achieve them!
I am very excited about Christmas but I am also very tired, I don't know how much sleep I will get tomorrow night. I think I will be too excited! So I had better go to bed now.
If I don't talk to you guys until after Christmas I have five words to say to you guys:
MERRY CHRISTMAS HO HO HO!
And I have another four words for all my friends out there:
I LOVE YOU ALL!
Thanks for your wonderful response to my blog this year....I am truly in debt to all of you.
TTYL,
Jess.
Special shout-out to my friends: Kitty, Kit-Kat, Ash, Amy, Jen, Lauren, Morgan, Tristan and anyone else I may have missed.....You know how you are!! I love you all!
MERRY CHRISTMAS ONCE AGAIN!

Why are things not resolved?
Hello my little friends,
Well the title of this post says it all, why are things not resolved?
This problem is ongoing I want things to be better right now! But I don't know what to do, I have receieved so many emails from the boy in question but I do not know how to reply. So I have come to the conclusion that I am not going to reply to his emails until he tells me what I want to hear.
Perhaps you are wondering what that is? Well, it doesn't have to be these exact words it just has to have the feeling of sincerity.
I want to know that I am not being taken for granted, I want to know that he can support me. He's not a boyfriend, he's just a friend but I expect support from my friends. I expect them to give me everything I give them.
Here's my idea of the perfect apology, no matter what the crime is...This is what has to be done to win me back.
"Jess, I know what I did was wrong. It was terrible of me, I realise now exactly how special you are to me. Without your friendship/love I feel lost and alone. I need to know that you forgive me. I will do anything in my power to make amends for my mistake. I will even build a time machine to go back and solve the problem so none of this unpleasantness would ever occur. I hope that everything can go back to normal between us."
There that's the gist of it. I would love it if they made it really personal, I don't know. People are complicated, fake apologies are stupid same with apologies where you say you are sorry and then blame the other person for everything. You would be better off not apologising at all.
Anyways that's my big grumble. I just want things to be resolved but I'm not going to back down, definitely not. I remember my rant from last night....GIRL POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not backing down. I'm not going to let anyone boss me around. I'm not going to solve problems for someone if they take me for granted. I want to be needed but I also want people to help me as well! I want support and I want kindness....I want....I don't know what I want.
But I guess the one thing i do want is a sincere apology. Oh well, maybe it'll come tomorrow.
At least Christmas is coming, that'll cheer me up. And Kitty cheers me up too, I'm so glad we are friends! Our theme song is now 'We Are Family!'
I especially love the line that goes...'I've got all my sisters with me' except we can change it to 'I've got my sister with me!' We stick by each other through thick and thin and give each other all our support. Ash is another one of my great friends same with Amy and Lauren and Jen and.....I'm going to run out of room if I list all my great friends!!!!!!! I have too many!!!
After my sad post last night I got bombarded with emails and messages comforting me, I have the greatest friends in the world. I love you all, Kitty, Ash, Lauren, Amy, Jen....Everyone!!!!!!!! Thank you all for your love and support this year, I don't know where I'd be without you all, probably down a hole rocking back and forth and sucking my thumb!
I love you all.
TTYL,

Girl Power!!!
Hi there everyone,
Well I am in a very different mood at the moment. It's rather a sad mood, because I have been hurt by one of my friends. It shouldn't be this way so close to Christmas but I guess that's the way life goes.
I don't want to write much of my day-to-day life at the moment but rather I want to write about something that I feel is very important, plus my day-to-day life is rather boring at the moment.
You are probably all wondering what I want to write about, well it is something I feel very strongly about at the moment....Girl Power. I want to talk about making sure that us girls aren't taken for granted by guys...and not just boyfriends either. Any guys out there, Dads, Grandads, friends, cousins, uncles. Anyone.
All this stems from something going on in my life at the moment. This friend problem, the friend who hurt me is a boy. Me and another friend (a girl) are working together to put up a united front to this friend and tell him that we won't be pushed around and taken for granted.
This boy called me a teachers pet. Now that doesn't sound like a big thing but to me it is as bad as being called any other name. To me a teachers pet represents everything I don't want to be. A suck-up, a lazy little insincere idiot.
I told this boy to stop calling me that but he just continued to mock me over and over again even when I shouted at him to stop it and told him that I would block him (this was on Facebook) or kill him m(that's how mad I was)
He mocked me more not taking me seriously at all. So I blocked him and sent him an email explaining how hurt I was and that I would only consider becoming his friend again if he apologised sincerely.
Well he sent me back a very insincere email where he said that he knew now that I was not a friend to be mocked. Well that really annoyed me because he should know that I can take a joke very well even if it's against myself but that when I say stop I mean stop. So I sent him back an email saying that I wouldn't accept that apology and that he shouldn't take me for granted etc. etc. Also my other friend said that the boy had been taking out his anger on her so I told him (by email) that we wouldn't be taken for granted and that if he continued to take out his anger on a girl who had only ever offered us both support than he stood to lose her too!
So girls stand up and let people know that you won't be taken for granted!!! That you deserve a good guy (whether it be a boyfriend or a friend) and that you are intelligent, gorgeous and don't deserve to be pushed around! Stand up and let your voice be heard, don't sit back and let guys push you around!!! We deserve just as much respect as they do and if a guy is ignoring you and your wishes completely than it isn't worth it!!! Tell them what you think of them and then give them ONE chance to apologise and fix their ways and if they don't then boot them out the door!!
They certainly don't deserve you if they don't listen to you and support you!
Also, don't help them fix their problems unless they help you fix yours too. It has to be a two-way deal not just a thing for their convinence. You're not their mother!!!!
Anyway, just remember too little words:
GIRL POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Days (Hey that was a show!)
Hey there guys and girls!
Well this will be a short post because I am a little tired. I only got 7 1/2 hours sleep last night and I usually get 9 hours so I really want a big night's sleep tonight.
Well today was busy!!! Mum and I went out this morning to finish off the Christmas shopping, we finally bought the camera for Grandma and Grandpa which was great!! It is a gorgeous silver one and it is absolutely tiny!!! We also got them a camera bag, I hope they like it!!
I can't actually remember the other presents we bought, that's how tired I am!
But when we got home I just chilled out, I watched TV came on my laptop and just generally relaxed....It was great!!
Then Nick finally got home this afternoon and Alex came too....Not very expected on my part and I was not very happy to see him! I couldn't fully relax while those two were playing Guitar Hero on full volume!! Brothers!!!!
While Alex was there Mum and I locked ourselves in her room and wrapped heaps and heaps of Christmas presents.
Then Alex finally left and I could relax properly. I just chilled out completely again, I don't remember what I do....Boy am I forgetful tonight!!!!
But then at about 6:00 I went for a swim, it was gorgeous!!! The water was beautifully warm and I just had the best time......Hopefully I will have time to swim every day or at least every second day! I am trying to improve my backstoke which is my worst swimming stroke. Also I want to improve my speed in Butterfly.
Christmas is almost here and I am very very excited.....
CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, I'm going to bed (it's 8:40pm and I'm tired)
TTYL,
Jess (very, very tired but happy and looking forward to Christmas)

Hectic Day!!!!
Well hello all!
I'm posting later than usual, it's currently 8:40pm. I just needed some time to relax today, man it's been a hectic day!!! But that's my life!!!
Let's start with this morning. It was pretty average, I'm slowly getting over the flu, I now only have a stuffed nose which in turn gives me an upset tummy (snot runs from nose into stomach, in case you're wondering why you feel sick when you have a cold/flu) so I ate a boiled egg for breakfast and watched some TV. Then Mum and I gave Holly a pat and woke up my brother. He had to be at his friend's house at 12:00.
So there was a mad rush for him to get ready because we had to leave at 10:40 cause we had to do some errands beforehand. So Mum, Nick and I went to Officeworks to look for a camera for our grandparents for Christmas (my aunty and uncle who live in China are giving them plane tickets to come visit them so we are getting them a camera for that trip!) We found a really cheap one that is still really really good and simple to use. Then Nick drove us to Blockbuster to return some DvDs and borrow a Wii game for Nick to take to his friend's house. Nick's on his learners and is actually a pretty good driver, though I will never tell him that!!!
We drove to Nick's friend's house and dropped him off there. He and some other friends are seeing Quantum of Solace tomorrow at Southbank. Nick went inside and Mum and I went to the Hyperdome.
Well! Inside the shops people are all Christmas spirit and good cheer but in the carpark, well that's a different story!!! We spent like 20 minutes trying to find a carpark, it was absolutely nuts!!! But when we finally got inside we went straight to J-B Hi-Fi (a CD and DvD store) we had like 6 different Christmas presents to buy there so that took us a while. When we finally left I was feeling dehydrated so Mum and I went to the coffee shop and I bought a bottled water and Mum got a cappucino. So we then wandered around the shops, going into different stores and buying the few Christmas presents left over.
Then Mum shooed me away so she could buy my Christmas presents. I went into Angus & Robinson (a book store) and browsed the teenage books there.
Well I found 'The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants' series and managed to buy the first one! I am really excited about reading it!! It's great because I'm almost finished Mao's Last Dancer (which is the ultimate read, read it now!) and then I can go straight onto Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants!!
So then Mum and I were finished and came home, but it was 2:00 and we had to leave like an hour later to visit my godsiblings.
Visiting them was the best fun in the world!!!!! They are adorable (as I've mentioned!) and such great fun!!!! We played so many games, I just love them to death!! We played Rory the Racing Car (a game made up by Lachlan), Lightning McQueen (ditto), Hide and Seek (you're an idiot if you don't know this game!) and many others!! I just had an awesome time!!
Plus their mum was impressed by my report card which I was really really happy about, she even showed it to her husband and asked him if he would be proud if I was his daughter! How sweet is that?!
Anyways what made the visit even more fun was that in the car to and from their place Mum and I listened to heaps of cool songs from my mp3 player in the car. I belted out the words to all the songs and Mum didn't care, Nick always complains that I am a terrible singer (I probably am!) But I was even worse today because of my cold but I still managed to reach the high notes and Mum said I was singing well! I told her that I am usually quite terrible and I was even more so today and she laughed!!
I tell you it was great to belt out words without anyone caring what I sounded like!! I am really starting to get excited about Rochedale Revue for next year, all this singing and acting is making me very very happy!!!
Unfortunately I didn't get time to write more than a paragraph of my story today, it sucks that I didn't get a chance to write more!! Oh well, after Christmas things should quieten down!!!
Anyways, I have to go now. Wow! I've been writing for half an hour!!

Christmas Shopping!!!
Hello girls (and guys!)
Well it's offically only 8 days till Christmas, getting excited yet???? I sure am!!!! Mum and I finished our Christmas shopping today, it was really really fun!!! I feel heaps better today, I just have a sore throat and a blocked nose now!!! I sound really nice (I'm being sarcastic, I sound like a dying cat!)
I didn't get a chance to write my story today because when Mum and I got home I was exhausted and cause I am still sick Mum said I should have a restful afternoon. I was all ready to go and babysit for Nick's violin teacher while he had his lesson but then she called and cancelled because she had to stay at work longer.
I was really really really annoyed because I was very much looking forward to it!!! Ah well, tomorrow Mum and I are going out again to buy my brother's Christmas presents and then I have to go browse while Mum buys my presents.
Then we are coming home, relaxing for like ten minutes and heading out to visit my godsiblings!!! That is always heaps of fun, they are the most adorable kids in the world!!! Though they always wear me out so I may not get a chance to write a post tomorrow. We get to give them their Christmas presents (decorations for their tree) and Allysa and Lachlan (the twins) their Birthday presents.....These are two books, I chose them today....They are really cute books!!! I got Lachlan a 'Mr Tickles' book (from the Little Miss and Mr Men series) and I got Allysa a 'Little Miss Giggles' book. I hope they like them.....I think they will!
The twins will be very excited tomorrow because they get to come home from daycare early because we are coming!!! Chloe (7) will probably be pestering Gail all day saying 'When are they coming?' 'Are they coming soon?'
They are the most adorable kids in the world. I love them with all my heart, pity I only get to see them in the holidays.
Anyways, I have to go, dinner time.

Beware!!!
Hey there faithful blog followers,
Just a short post today because I am feeling pretty wretched! There is some flu thing going around and I have caught it!!! Along with three of my friends!!
Last night was horrible, I kept waking up and my head hurt and I was shivery and sweaty at the same time. Then I woke up this morning at 5:30 and came downstairs to watch Spicks and Specks. When Mum came down at 6:00 she was horrified but how hot I was. She got the thermometer and checked my temperature....Well a normal temperature is about 36 and mine was 38.60.....Not good!!! I had a massive headache, I felt like I was going to faint and throw up....It's not very nice. Beware of the flu!!!
So I had a really relaxing day, just lazing on the couch, watching TV, talking to friends, surfing the web. And for an hour this afternoon I read 'Mao's Last Dancer' a true story that I highly recommend to everyone!! It is an amazing story and I got my copy signed at the Brisbane Writer's Festival earlier this year!! I can hardly believe I met such a brave man!!!
Anyway, I had panadol today to lower my temperature and I rechecked my temperature at 2:30 and it was 36!!! Hooray!!! Back to normal!!!
Unfortunately Mum was at work today so I didn't have my Mum when I was feeling rotten. She said that my brother had to take care of me (Nurse Nick she called him) but he only got up at 11:30 and only ate breakfast at 12:00 and then disappeared for the rest of the day so I had to fend for myself....Stupid brother!!!!
Well, I didn't get a chance to write more of my story today...I could barely think straight let alone write a story!!!
If I am feeling ok tomorrow Mum and I are going shopping for Christmas presents (we've left it late this year!!!) And then in the afternoon we have to go to Nick's violin lesson. That means that Mum and I get to take care of the cutest little boy who is the son of Nick's violin teacher. He is adorable and said my name last time we went!!!!
Then on Thursday afternoon Mum and I are going to visit Gail (Mum's friend from High School) she has three children who are my godsiblings. There is Chloe, Ally and Lachlan. They are the cutest kids ever!!!!
So my next few days are pretty full, but I'll keep you guys posted on everything that happens.
Wow! This short post has turned into a long one!!!

Pretty boring day (and another section of the story!)
Hey there dudes and dudettes!
Another day almost gone and what a boring one!! Well, this morning I woke up early and watched some TV. Then Mum and Dad awoke and came downstairs for breakfast. The two of them both had to leave at 7:30, Dad had to catch the bus and Mum was doing an extra long day today so she could have Wednesday off work.
Nick was still at his friend's house so I had the whole house to myself!!! Come to think of it Mum and Dad are still not home from work, Mum will be home at 4:30 (in half an hour) and Dad won't be home until 6:30 or 7:00. When Mum comes home we are going to pick up Nick from his friend's house.
The house had been extremely quiet today though!!! So after Mum and Dad went to work I had breakfast (French Toast...yummy!) And then went upstairs to go on my laptop. I spend until about 12:00 working on my story and chatting to friends.
Then I got myself some lunch (A boiled egg, rice and custard) and ate it while watching some 'Everybody Loves Raymond' that is an awesome show!!!!! You have to watch it sometime!!!!
So then I brought my laptop downstairs and did some more work in front of the TV. Which was good fun.
Then at about 2:45 I went upstairs and cleaned my bedroom (that's a first!!!) then came back down and have been watching TV ever since.
As I said before, it's been rather a boring day! Except for the fact that I got to write some more of my story!!!
Here's anther few pages of it (remember you have to read the first part beforehand!) Remember the main character is a Hermaphrodite (a person who is neither a girl or a boy) Enjoy!!!!
I don't remember the events that directly followed the accident. I felt like I was in a dream, people were moving around me but I couldn't communicate with them. Everything was fuzzy, I remember people crowding around me and trying to drag me to the ambulance. Away from the police who were inspecting my parent's death car. I wouldn't let them take me away, I had my hand practically welded to the car door.
Finally a tall, strong police officer came over to me and wrapped his arms around me. I nuzzled my face into his shirt, letting the tears stain the deep blue of his uniform. He smelt like my Dad, like aftershave and a sweet smell of pine.
“Shh...shh...it's going to be ok,” whispered the officer, rocking me back and forth.
“No it's not!” I screamed, “My parents are....are....” I dissolved into tears again, they fell down my cheeks and I didn't even noticed the officer gently pulling my hand from the car door and carrying me, wrapped in his arms like a baby, towards the ambulance.
He laid me carefully onto the stretcher that was just outside the ambulance. The paramedics soon surrounded me, poking me with all different objects. A therometer was shoved in my mouth, I coughed self consciously. The kind police officer rested his hand on mine and shushed me gently. He smiled and, as the paramedics came closer, started to move away. I screamed as soon as I lost sight of him.
“Don't go!” I screamed and the tears came again. I started to shake, my arms and legs were moving like crazy. My heart beating some hard it hurt. The paramedics didn't hear me, they just pushed the stretcher into the ambulance and slammed the doors. I tried to get up but I was too weak.
“Don't leave me!” I screamed again and grabbed at my hair in despair. “Don't leave me! Don't leave me!” I couldn't stop screaming, the tears were streaming down and they wouldn't stop. I ripped at my hair, pulling chunks out and throwing them down to the ground.
The sirens weren't on and we weren't even going fast but no one bothered to check on me. No one bothered to check if I was ok, no one cared. No one at all.
I didn't know who I was screaming for, was it my parents? Or the only person who had been kind to me? Was I screaming for my protectors and the givers of life? Or I was screaming for the person who had taken in their arms and let me cry and scream for my parents while they held me close?
I didn't know the answer, all I knew was that I was an orphan. An orphan that no one would want, an orphan that was different, too different to describe. My relatives wouldn't understand, they would cry for my parents and look at me with sympathy but they wouldn't understand that I had feelings, just like any other child.
The nurses said I was in shock, they said I was unstable....My pulling out my hair was proof enough of that. They wanted me to stay in hospital for a day or two, just to monitor me. But I refused, everytime I saw a piece of equipment I thought 'That could have saved Mum' or 'That could have saved Dad.' It was hell.
So the doctors called my closet relative, my grandparents were all dead and Dad had been an only child. I had never known Mum's family, apparantly she had had some argument with them when I was born and I had never known them. I had always assumed the argument was about the operation. Her family probably wanted to turn me into a girl but Dad and Mum were adament that I should stay the way I was born.
But apparantly I had an Aunt Irene, I had never met her but Mum had mentioned that she had a sister and I suppose that sister was Aunt Irene. I sat in the waiting room for hours, waiting, just waiting. Aunt Irene was sure taking her time, considering that her sister had just died, and she was now charged with taking care of her sister's only living child. I mean, most aunts would rush to the hospital to comfort their new child. She was now my guardian. I hated that word, it made them sound like a guardian angel. And that was wrong. When Aunt Irene did arrive, she was clearly no angel. She was older than Mum and no where near as pretty. She had grey hair, tied in a tight bun. Her eyes were tiny, and had a sly look about them. They were a deep green like a cat's eyes. Aunt Irene was wearing an old fashioned dress and I could see a petticoat pecking out of the hem. She had a crisp white apron wrapped around her waist. Her eyes weren't pink and she looked....happy....not sad. The minute I saw her I knew I didn't want to go with her. She didn't look kind, she looked cruel and old-fashioned. As soon as I saw her the tears came back and I started to shake. I wanted my parents, I wanted my kind, sweet mother. I wanted my stern, but well-meaning father. I didn't want Aunt Irene, I didn't want her at all.
The minute she saw me, she shuddered and looked at me nervously.
“Oh goodness, so this is the hideous child, neither a boy nor a girl! What a world this is!” Aunt Irene held her hands as if in prayer and looked to the sky as if praying for a lightning bolt to come and strike me off the earth.
The nurse frowned at her and whispered something in her ear.
“What does it matter if her parents have just died? She is still different, too different.” Aunt Irene snapped and the nurse looked repulsed. I just curled up on my seat and tried to disappear, like everyone wanted me to. “Come now child, we're going home,” Aunt Irene marched out of the hospital and I was expected to follow her. She showed me no sympathy, commenting fouly on everything from my hair to my clothes to my parents. I drew the line there.
“It served your mother right to have a child like you, that girl never did learn to be polite and to attend church.” Aunt Irene said as she steered the car out of the hospital parking lot.
“You leave my mother alone!” I screamed and Aunt Irene shook her head.
“Hasn't anyone ever taught you respect? Goodness, those parents of yours! I'm glad they're gone!” o
“Well I'm not!” I screamed, “I'm not! I want them back and I want you....I want you to go!”
Aunt Irene didn't look phased, she just tutted under her breath and frowned at me. I looked out my window, I started to shake again and the tears started to come again. Aunt Irene didn't offer any sympathy at all.
“Well! I would have thought you would be glad to be with someone who will allow you to get an operation to make you normal....God forbid your parents could let you live like this!” she snapped and I burst into huge heaving sobs.
“That was what we were going to do when they were killed!” I screamed at her and started to claw at her face. She slammed on the brakes as she couldn't see and pushed me away from her.
“You will act respectfully around me! I am your elder! And your only carer now!” shouted Aunt Irene.
“I don't respect you and I would rather go into an orphanage than be cared for by a person who couldn't see that my parents were good and kind people!” I screamed and Aunt Irene gave me a sharp slap across my cheeks. It left a strong red mark and left me silent but surly. I burst into tears again, Mum would never have done that to me. Mum would have gathered me into her arms and held me close. I was hurt but Aunt Irene wasn't going to say anything to comfort me.
The next few months were absolute hell, I hated living in Aunt Irene's house. It didn't feel like a house, it felt like a hospital. Everything was spotless, the beds had perfectly creased corners and the walls were bare except for the hall which held a giant wooden cross. Worst of all was my room. It had a small white bed shoved into the corner with a table beside it holding the bible. On the walls were pictures of the Virgin Mary and Jesus and in another corner was an ancient wardrobe. When I first arrived I pulled open the doors of the wardrobe and saw that Aunt Irene had not given me any clothes, nor had she bought anything from my house.
I was furious, she didn't seem to want me there at all. I thought of my parents, always so kind and accepting of me as I was. But it didn't do to think of them for too long, I would start crying yet again.
Though as hard as I tried to stop it, after an incredibly awkward first dinner with Aunt Irene, where she lectured and recited the bible. I collapsed into bed and the shakes and crying returned, in full force. I looked out the window and saw the moon smiling down at me.
“Mum,” I whispered, thinking I could see her face. “Dad. I miss you both, please come back and save me!” the tears rolled down my cheeks and my heart started to thump. As I remembered the terrible things I had seen that day I started to scream, I started to shout. And soon I was throwing things around the room. I grabbed the pictures of the Virgin Mary and Jesus off the walls and threw them. The glass smashed all around the room and I fell to my knees. Crying and gasping for air, my chest hurt, as though it was slowly being squeezed tighter and tighter.
I heard the door open and looked up, seeing Aunt Irene standing there framed by the moonlight, holding a cross, was frightening. I screamed.
Aunt Irene fell upon me and, instead of kissing me and holding me, she slapped me squarely across my face. I stopped crying, I stopped screaming, I was just sitting there, gasping and gasping. But Aunt Irene didn't stop hitting me. She slapped me again and again and again. She kicked my knees and hit me squarely in the stomach.
“What are you doing?” I cried, doubling over in pain. Aunt Irene did not reply, she looked so frightening that I started to cry again. “Stop it! Stop it!” I screamed but she didn't listen. Aunt Irene continued to beat me, she gave no mercy.
Finally she left me, I lay on the ground of my room, crying and screaming. My stomach was so bruised and I couldn't move my leg. My face stung from her slaps, I couldn't move from the floor. So I curled up awkwardly and tried to sleep, though sleep wouldn't come. So instead I cried, I cried for my parents, wondering where they were. I cried for my pain, wondering if it would leave me. I cried for my misfortune, for having Aunt Irene as my guardian. I also cried for why I was born the way I was born. Why me? Why not another child? And why did I feel that I couldn't relate to either boys or girls? Where did I belong? It certainly wasn't with Aunt Irene. As these thoughts haunted me, I watched the moonlight move across the wooden floorboards of my room. It lingered on my bed, it seemed as if the two objects were hugging. I cried out again, and my chest ached. I heaved, but I couldn't make it to the toilet. I vomited all other my floorboards, my tears mixed with the sick covering my floor. I couldn't stop crying, I would never have someone to hug again.

TTYL,
Jess.
Really, really cool day!!!
Hi there faithful blog followers!
I had a very exciting and full day today!!! Though when I woke up this morning I thought is was going to be boring.
I woke up at 6:00 and watched some TV and ate some food. Then at about 8:00 Mum came downstairs and said that she had to take Grandma to Church and did I want to go to my cousin Danielle's house for a few hours because she had to pass their house.
Of course I said yes!!!! I love my cousin Danielle and her sisters, Julia and Rachel. They are all really nice!!! Mum called and arranged it and I went to their house!!
It was the best fun ever!!!!!!!! We went swimming and that was heaps of fun (more fun when you are swimming with fun people!) and then about an hour later we went inside and played board games on the deck, Rachel watched and listened to music on Danielle's Ipod. I was offically the Connect Four Champion!!!!!!!! W00th!! Go me!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mum was due to pick me up soon after that so Dani decided to just show me this video called "How To Be Gangster" I had already seen "How To Be Emo" but then Mum arrived just as it was starting so I didn't get to watch it!!!
Though the "How To Be Emo" video is pretty cool, look it up on youtube!
When we got in the car, Grandma was there (Mum had just picked her up from church) and Nick was driving (trying to get his hours up! He's on his learner's)
Anyway so we drove to Grandma's house and we went up to her apartment while she got changed for the picnic Mum and I were taking her on. Nick and I mucked around on Mum's mobile while we were waiting.
Then we dropped Nick home and Mum picked up the picnic basket.
So finally we got to Daisy Hill Forest where Mum, Grandma and I had a really great time eating lunch and watching the dogs, birds and kids. I probably sound really nerdy talking about having a picnic with my Grandma but it was actually quite fun. Plus I love spending time with my Mum so all of you should get to know your Mums better (or Dads if you are a guy). They know everything you're going through at the moment.
Anyway, I found out an interesting fact, Grandma had to leave school in grade 6 because of the war. Then when Mum was in high school and Grandma was like 55, she went and did evening classes so she got a high school degree! Then she went on to become a nurse!!! How inspriational is that!!! Seriously, that's awesome!!!
Anyway, then Mum and I dropped her home and went fruit & vege shopping. We talked heaps, it was really fun. I love spending time with Mum, it's the best fun!! And no I'm not a loner, I do have friends, but I just love my Mum.
But when I got home it turns out that all my other files are fine but my story (a whole 15 pages and not finished, plus 4 weeks work!) has been corrupted and now it is offically gone!!!!! I was furious, none of it is left, not even a sentence!!! But I didn't mope for lone. I got started on a new story. This one is about a Hermaphrodite whose parents died and now she is starting High School with only her unsupportive aunt to help her along the way.
I have only written 3 pages so far but please read it:
From the moment I was born everyone knew I was different. I don't remember being born but my parents do, or did as the case may be. I remember them telling me the story, I was six when I first heard it.
“When you were born we were both so relieved,” Dad used to begin, “Your mother had been in labour for two days.”
“But, when you were born, there was a problem,” Mum would always bite her lip when she said this.
“A minor problem,” Dad would interrupt, “Nothing too serious.”
“You see, when you were born, we...umm...we couldn't tell if you were a boy or a girl. The midwife couldn't either.” Mum always paused here and rested her hand on Dad's knee or my shoulder.
“It was unusual and of course the doctor did all the usual tests to try and determine the overriding gender but.....he couldn't determine it.” Dad would always then smile shyly at Mum, telling her subtly to tell the last bit of the story.
“So he asked us to decide whether you were to be a girl or a boy and then he would carry out the approriate...urr...treatment to...umm....ensure that you would be solely that gender,” Mum always wrung her hands when she spoke that part. That was how I knew that the most important section was coming up.
“But you see,” Dad would take over here, “We just couldn't decide, we didn't want you to be changed into something that you weren't. We didn't want you to spend the rest of your life feeling as though you were in the wrong body.”
“So we told the doctor we were happy the way you were,” Mum would frown here, as if she honestly didn't know why they did it. “He looked at us like we were....I don't know....madmen.”
“But he let us go, he let you go home as you were. Though he strongly advised us to make a decision soon to prevent you mental anguish. He wanted us to make the decision early so you would never remember being a....ummm....being what you were. He wanted you to only remember being a girl or a boy.” Dad would rub his nose self consciously when he said this.
“But we couldn't make a decision,” Mum would interrupt, looking at me lovingly. “We just wanted you to be....well....you.”
They told it the same way, every time, every single time. The same movements, the same self conscious shuffling. They were afraid that I would reject them, for what they had done. I could tell they were afraid but, at least when I first heard it, I wasn't mad, I didn't feel anything. I guess it was because, well, I didn't understand then, I was too young, they used big words, words I didn't understand.
For weeks afterwards I didn't understand why they told me what they told me. I was clearly just...well...me, normal. I wore jeans, I wore skirts, I wore my hair however I wanted it. But when I started primary school I realised why they told me.
They were the best parents ever, they told my teacher that I was different. I don't know what they said but she was so nice, she never referred to me as a she or a he.
But the kids, they were different, I remember the first day. I was so excited, just like any other kid. I begged my mother to let pick out my clothes. She reluctantly agreed and I came running downstairs in the most hideous outfit I could have put together. I was wearing a garish green t-shirt with flowers around the sleeves. The shirt was a polo shirt though, Grandma had made it for me, she knew that I was...different. So she didn't know what to make, so she made a bit of a girl shirt and a bit of a boy shirt. I was also wearing something handmade on my bottoms. It was again made by a relative who really didn't know any better. It was a skirt on one side and shorts on the other. The skirt was navy blue and covered in tiny little roses while the shorts were...well....ok, they were bright orange, with little trunks on them.
When Mum saw me she absolutely cracked it, she wanted to take me back upstairs and redress me properly. But I refused to go, I screamed and I shouted and I cried my heart out. So Mum just shoved me into a pair of sandels and plonked a straw hat on my head.
And then I went to school for the very first time.
The kids laughed when they first saw me. Not because they knew that I was different but because I just looked really strange. Also I was crying and clinging to Mum's legs, that can't have helped.
But, as is the way of little kids, by lunch, they loved me. I made heaps of friends and we played and we laughed and everything. It was the best thing ever. Mum and Dad had kept me away from kids for a while, they were afraid that the kids would reject me.
But the kids didn't know, they didn't know, how could they know? They were six, just like me, they wouldn't have understood, just like I didn't understand.
But as I grew up, things started to change. I started to, well, wonder what was wrong with me. When we were planning our grade six camp none of the teachers knew what cabin to put me in. Should they put with the boys? Or the girls? I didn't know what I wanted either, did I belong to either group? Should I have a cabin with the teachers? The kids didn't know that I was different, they didn't know anything. But the teachers did, they might blurt something out if I decided to share a cabin with them.
Finally, after a fustrating day at school, and numerous teacher questions about whether I 'felt' like a boy or a girl I came home and threw myself on my bed. When Mum came to see if I was ok I told her I didn't want to go on camp. She put it down to not wanting to be away from home. I couldn't tell her the real reason, it would hurt her. She regretted her and Dad's decision enough already. I couldn't do that to her. So I let her think that and I let her call the school and tell them that I was staying home instead of going to camp. The teachers were relieved, none were as sympathetic as my grade one teacher.
I cried so much that night, I wanted to go with my friends. But I couldn't stand it. I just couldn't stand it. It was too terrible. Far too terrible.
I began to think of myself as a monster, as a horrific monster. Finally one day at breakfast when I was in grade seven Mum told me that I had to make a decision. I had to decide whether I wanted to live as a girl or a boy.
I deliberated for months over the decision and asked Mum and Dad so many times why I had to make the decision. They told me that it was because I couldn't go on living the way I was living.
I never thought that was the truth, now I know that it was because I was going to start High School. They knew how difficult High School was and they didn't want me to have an extra hard time just because of something that could be changed.
I deliberated and deliberated over it. And to tell you the truth, I didn't feel like either. I didn't feel like a boy and I didn't feel like a girl. I felt comfortable in pants and skirts and dresses and boy shirts and girl shirts and boxers and everything. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know what to tell Mum, I didn't know what to say. Dad was more gentle, he said that if I wanted to stay the way I was that was fine with him and he would support me all the way.
But Mum was anxious, I could see she was worried. I knew she was just concerned for me. So I did the age old trick, I....I did eeny meeny mo. I used a picture of a girl from a magazine and a picture of a boy and...the girl won.
I told Mum, she was happy that I had made a decision and made me an appointment for a few days later. Dad was silent, I think he was disappointed in me for...well...for not having the guts to stay as I was. I think he thought I was a failure, someone who just wanted to follow the crowd.
A few days later we went to the hospital, Dad was silent as he had been for the last few days. Mum was ecstatic she was glad that she didn't have to explain things anymore. She was just glad for me too, that I wouldn't have any more problems.
When we were leaving home, I stopped Dad before he could get in the car.
“Dad,” I whispered and he turned around. “I....I just want you to know, that I'm only doing this to please Mum. I don't....I don't really feel like a girl, but I don't feel like a boy either. Just, be happy, I love you,” I gave Dad a kiss and he hugged me back. He didn't let go for a long time. He kissed my forehead.
“I love you too,” he whispered. Then Mum ran over, she wrapped her arms around the two of us.
“I love you both,” she whispered, “Especially you,” she kissed my forehead and I kissed her back.
I'll always remember that moment, it was the moment when the three of us were happy. Despite everything, despite my....differences. We were just like a normal family. For once.
But something happened that day. Something terrible happened. On the way to the hospital, there was a terrible accident. It hurts me to write about it, even now. It kills me.
We were driving down the highway, Mum was in the front passenger seat, Dad was driving. I was seated in the back, chattering away, telling them about what things to expect in the next year. When I was fourteen. I was telling them to expect mood swings, and demands for everything. More food, a mobile phone. It kills me to think how trivial my conversation was, it was the last thing they heard. My incessant chatter, I could just kill myself, they probably wanted to hear how much I loved them. They probably wanted to talk to each other, but I didn't pay any attention. I just thought about myself. I was stupid.
Because, as we driving, a massive truck came and crashed straight into the front of our car. They said the guy was drunk, they said he was nutcase. But nothing made me feel better.
I still remember the impact, I had just been describing the phone I wanted. I remember the trunk coming, Dad trying to swerve out of the way. Mum screaming, me curling up terrified. I remember Mum tearing off her seatbelt, probably something that could have saved her and diving into the backseat. She wretched my door open, and shoved me out onto the road. Mum saved me, she kept me from being crushed. For I would have been crushed, had I stayed in the car with her and Dad. Their seats would have been pushed backwards and our car would have compacted, me inside.
I rolled and rolled and landed on a soft patch of grass, just beside the highway. I can barely believe how lucky I was. All around me cars stopped, I was bruised and a little shaken but I was fine. I ran to our car, blind of all the other people in cars around me. I was lucky not to have been hit. The truck, it had crashed into our car, it had killed my parents. Dad's arms, they were cut off, no one knew where they went. Mum was crushed in the back seat, curled up in a protective position. Her mouth open, as though she had just uttered her last words.
But, they died as heros, not just because they saved me. But because the truck was stopped when it hit them. More people would have died if it had not been for my parents. But I was blind to all this. I ran to the car, though it was a compacted cube now. I tried to find a door. I wanted my parents, I wanted them to hold me and hug me. I wanted them to help me, I didn't want them to go.
I couldn't find a door, so I collapsed onto the road and screamed and cried. I couldn't believe they were gone. I didn't want them to be gone. People all around, stopped their cars and ran towards me. They tried to pull me away, they tried to shield my eyes, to prevent me from seeing the terrible sight that was my parents' death. But I saw it, I saw it all. I screamed more each time someone tried to take me away.
The ambulance arrived and I heard Paramedics shouting.
“Grab that girl!” one shouted, “She's in shock!”
I wasn't in shock, I didn't think I was. I was shaking though, shaking uncontrollably.
“I'm not a girl!” I screamed, standing up, with one hand still on the crushed car.
“Grab that boy!” shouted another Paramedic, I screamed my loudest.
“I'm not a boy!” I shouted, tears streaming down my face. I remembered what we were going to do at the hospital. I remembered the operation, but I didn't want it. I didn't want to change. The way I was, that was the way my parents had known me. My current body was my link to them. It was my link to everything.
Well there you go!! That's the beginning, leave me a comment and tell me what you think!!! There is more to come so stay in touch and keep checking out my blog!!
TTYL,
Jess.

Yet another day
Hey there dudes and dudettes!
Well the second day of holidays is almost at an end and it was a bit of good, a bit of bad....The bad was that I was really sad for no reasons. I think I am missing my friends. Ahhhh well, I felt better after I had a bit of a cry and asked Mum what was wrong with me. She said that it was normal because I had been looking forward to holidays so much and then they arrived and well....it was a bit of an anti-climax.
So, today what did I do? Well I watched some TV early this morning, before anyone else was awake, then I ate breakfast and went on my laptop for a while.
At 11:30 Mum and I then went to the gym for a 45 minute workout....and I do mean workout...it was exhausting!!!! After that we dropped into the shops and picked up so groceries and I bought some chocolate (a must if you are feeling down!)
So we got home at like 1:30 and ate lunch then I watched some of my 'Everybody Loves Raymond' DvD and ate some chocolate. Dad went golfing, Mum had a nap (of course) and Nick was on the computer (he always is!)
So at about 4:00 I came upstairs and went on my laptop, which is where I am now, listening to my radio and working on my blog and playing on club penguin. Oh and chatting to my friends, yay! I love my friends, I think I've already mentioned that!
It's now an hour later and I'm still here, I don't think I'll be moving for a while. It's really comfortable here, I'm talking to Manny and Amy, well mostly Manny (he's a boy) cause Amy hasn't spoken in a while.
Well, I don't think I'm doing much tomorrow so my entries may not be as riverting but....Oh! That's right, on Thursday me and Mum are going to visit my godsiblings, Ally, Lachie and Chloe. That will be really really fun, they always exhaust me but it's always awesome fun cause they are so young and young kids make me really happy!
It's almost Christmas I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!! I love going to Bunderburg and I will be taking my laptop so I will be able to keep you posted on all the chaos that happens there every year!! Part of the fun of having really really religious grandparents and having to sit through ten minute graces every meal and a two hour church service on Christmas morning. I wrapped some Christmas presents this afternoon and Mum and Dad decided on what they were getting me this morning, unfortunately I don't know!!!!
Yeah! I'm listening to Britney Spear's Circus, I love that song, it's her best work! Anyway my story still won't let me open it so I can't post it today....Hopefully tomorrow, I hope I haven't lost the document cause I will be really mad if that's what has happened!

First Day of Fun Holidays!!!!!!
Hi there everyone,
Well my first day of holidays is almost at an end. And it has been great!!! Let me start at this morning.
Well I woke up at 6:30 and watched some telly then I ate breakfast at about 7:30, French Toast, yummy! Then I went up to my room and did an hour and a bit of reading (I'm reading Mao's Last Dancer, I highly recommend it!) Then at about 9:30 I went on my laptop, wrote a bit of my story, chatted heaps to my friends!!!!! And went on Club Penguin, a great website! So all in all I had a pretty good morning.
The next time I looked at the clock it was 12:30, ah, time flies when you're having fun!!!!! So I went downstairs, Mum had gotten home from doing P&C stuff and she boiled Nick and I an egg each for lunch. Then Mum and I had a big chat and went shopping. I got a haircut and I think she bought one of my Christmas presents. We were admiring these absolutely gorgeous sparkly shawl and I said I liked the pink one so she sent me off to look at something else so I think she bought it for me!!! I'm really excited, it is gorgeous!!! Mum and I then went and bought Christmas decorations for my godsiblings (Ally, Lachie and Chloe) and a book for Chloe, we have to buy books for Ally and Lachie still. Also I got a haircut, it's shorter now and that's really really nice. Especially with this amazingly hot weather!!!! I also got my eyebrows waxed, I get them done every so often when they grow too much. Though I'm not one of those people who get the ultra thin ones, I just get them sculpted a little and keep my original shape.
Anyway we got home at 3:15 and I took a shower while Mum took Nick to work (he does filing at the Doctor's). Then I got into some relaxing clothes (aka my trackies) and watched TV.
Also the most exciting thing of the day, I got my report card!! I was really surprised at myself (in a good way) cause I got all A's in every single subject, even Science which is my worst subject!!! Mum was really proud and it was just the best thing ever, also my dog Holly got all embarassed and went and laid with her back to us. It was really cute!
Oh and this morning Mum called my grandparents and said that we would be arriving in Bunderburg on Christmas Eve...which is what I wanted! Dad only wanted to go on Christmas Day but me and Mum won!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, perhaps you remember my promise that I would let you read my story. Well part one will probably come tomorrow, I've tried to get it to download today but it's not working so hopefully it will tomorrow.
But still don't hold your breath.

HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!
Hey there faithful blog followers,
I AM OFFICALLY ON HOLIDAYS AS OF NOW!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really happy, Christmas is coming and so is New Years......It's going to be heaps of fun.
Though today was the most boring day in the world. First of all we didn't get to go swimming, then for the first two periods we did stupid worksheets. But then came the fun part, every person in the school (only like 100) squeezed into the Performing Arts Theatre and we all watched Karate Kid for the last two periods of the day. Karate Kid is an awesome movie, for anyone who hasn't watched it you have to watch it right now!!! Stop reading my blog, and go and rent it out. It is an absolute classic and super funny. Everyone was cackling away and it was just awesome.
Plus for third period my little crush was sitting in front of me, he was adorable, just sitting there!!! Then in fourth period he was sitting diagonally behind me....It was awesome!!! I kept craning my neck around to look at him.
After school, I was walking up to the Uniform Shop to meet Mum when I saw him walking out of school. So I gathered up all my guts and shouted:
"Hey Josh!"
He looked up and looked at me, I almost melted into the concrete. I then shouted:
"Merry Christmas!"
He smiled and shouted back:
"You too!"
It was the best way to end the year.....He is the cutest guy in the whole world! I love him to bits, oh god, I hope next year he'll ask me out......I hope he will!!!!
Anyway, during the first two periods I wrote some poems, here are the best two. I don't usually like writing poetry (I'm more a story person) but today I managed to write some half decent ones. Please comment and tell me what you think of them.

My Friend
A whisper of breath on my neck
And as I turn around
I realise that it's you back there
My shy, silent friend
As you watch me walk
I wonder what you're thinking
You look like me, walk like me
Surely you will think like me
But as the clouds draw closer
I realise that you've gone
You've sprinted away, left me here
But soon you shall return
For you could never leave me
You are bound to me forever
My shy, silent friend
Broken
Can it be fixed?
Will anyone bother to heal it?
Is there a hospital for such a thing?
No, it will remain as it is
Broken as glass smashed to the floor
For you smashed my heart
Did it mean nothing to you?
I trusted you, do you even miss me?
No, you stand strong as ever
How I long to be in your arms again
Though it can never happen
I will survive, I can be strong
Though this heart will never heal
I miss you, your jokes, your smile
I smiled for you, I joked for you
But most of all
I loved you
A whisper of breath on my neck
And as I turn around
I realise that it's you back there

Another Awesome Day!!!!!
Hi there girls (and some guys!)
Well it's later than I usually update my blog but I really couldn't wait to tell you guys about everything!!! Well, today was the day of our Royal Children's Hospital visit. We practised all day except for sports, I got to go swimming and it was awesome!!! Beautiful weather for it, it was absolutely gorgeous!!!
Then we practised for like the whole day!!! My voice is almost completely gone!
The bus arrived for us at 2:40, the same time school finishes, and we got to the Royal Children's at 3:10. We got taken to 'The Wonder Factory' which is basically the playroom for all the kids, well the ones that are well enough to get out of bed.
We met this gorgeous girl, I think she was a sibling of one of the kids upstairs in the wards. Apparently a lot of the siblings use 'The Wonder Factory' while they are with their parents visiting their sick brothers and sisters. She was absolutely beautiful, a major show-off! The minute we walked in she started organising us into rows so Mr Wharton asked her to help him conduct which she did quite willingly. Then after we sang to the kids in 'The Wonder Factory' for a bit we made a conga line which of course the little show-off led, she was such a cutie!!!
Then half of us went up to the wards while the others stayed and played with the kids in 'The Wonder Factory' I was one of the ones who went up to the wards, there were such adorable children there. We laughed heaps and it was awesome. Just nice to be able to see the kids that really needed cheering up. The parents also thought we were great and you could tell that they enjoyed it too.
We met this really little baby who smiled the whole time we were singing but as soon as we waved goodbye and started leaving he started to cry. We all felt so bad, but it was soooooooooooooo cute!!!!
After visiting the wards we went back and joined the rest of the group back in 'The Wonder Factory' we got to play with the kids again. I met this adorable boy with a tube up his nose. He mumbled his name everytime I asked him so I don't know what his name was but he was absolutely gorgeous. He was colouring in the stickers we gave him and I told him that he was a really good colourer. He said that he hadn't been when he was four (he thought I was four) but when he turned five he became a really good colourer! He just kept chattering away and I barely had to say anything. Then we played handball but with a balloon. But then it was time to go back on the bus and I said that it was time for me to go and he asked me why. I told him that I had to go back home. He nodded and I waved goodbye, then as I was walking away he waved and came running back to me. He held up his hand to give me a high five and I gave him one back. Then I kept walking, saying goodbye too. But he just ran up to me and held his hands out to give me a hug. Mr Wharton had said that we weren't allowed to give them hugs so I just wrapped my arms loosely around him and then waved goodbye again.
It was adorable. The whole group then stood outside the hospital on the grass and did the mexican wave to all the kids in the windows who were looking down at us.
The whole day was absolutely brilliant, it makes you feel so good to do something like that. It makes you feel special and needed. I swear, as soon as I am 18 I am going to volunteer at the hospital, it is the best experience I have ever had. I am definitely doing it again next year!!!!
Last night I was talking to two people online at the same time and they were both needing advice from me, it was crazy! I feel like a psychiatrist!!! Everyone says I should be a psychiatrist when I'm older but I don't want to be that. I want to be a teacher, preferrably grade twos. But I also want to write my stories in my spare time still. Stories are a part of my life and I love to write them.
I dunno, I can't believe people think I would make a good psychiatrist. Some people call me Dr Phil which is just a little freaky.
Anyway this post is turning out to be a majorly long one. I should probably stop now. I'll update again tomorrow.

Sing, Act, Write.....I'm exhausted!!!
Hi there faithful blog followers!
Well it's been another exciting day in the:
LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL BEFORE HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today we had Sex Education for first period then Drama then Sex Education again for third period then in forth period I had choir practise. Tomorrow afternoon me and about ten other year 8 and 9 students are going to the Royal Children's Hospital to sing carols to the sick kids. I am looking forward to it though we will only get back at either 5:45 or 6:00 but I am still really excited. We get to talk to the little kids and they are allowed to come and sing with us, we can hold their hands and kneel down with them to help them sing.....I am really excited about that part, little kids are so cute and adorable!!! We are singing so many songs but the ones that sound the best are: Away in A Manger and Silent Night. Frosty the Snowman sounds pretty good too though. I have met a really nice girl called Shanise, she is in grade 9 and stands next to me. She is really funny and totally awesome!!! When the two of us sing the really high notes together they sound absolutely awesome!!! On my other side is Amy and we have a good chuckle in between songs, great fun!!!! Jen stands in front of me and she's a heap of fun too!!! Kitty is playing Cello for some of the songs and singing in some to which is totally cool too, almost all my friends are going tomorrow! We leave at 2:40 straight after school and yeah, so we get heaps of time at the hospital with the kids!!!! When we were recruiting people for this excursion Mr Wharton (a really cool teacher and our choir master) asked my crush to join us but he said no, I was almost begging him and when he said no I gave him a real scowl!!! It was so funny.
Anyway I am regretting going to Wet 'n' Wild yesterday because I am sunburnt all over my chest just above where my tankini came to, it was really painful last night but at least I'm not the only one. Kitty got sunburnt all over her face and her back, poor thing!!
I gave everyone their Christmas presents today and I think they all really liked them. Kitty put on her necklace and earrings straight away, Ash started eating her chocolate, Amy put on her bracelet straight away, Jen played with her bracelet for a good ten minutes after I gave it to her, Sammie was really happy about the earrings and gave me a massive hug, Tristan really liked his sheep, Katarina put on her French Horn brooch on straightaway and Katrina put her pig keyring on her tie and wore it for the rest of the day, showing it to everyone!!!
Today was really fun except for Sex education, who would have guessed that it was so difficult to put on a condom!!! It was all especially gross because I don't want to have sex before I get married anyway, kissing, hugging, holding hands and cuddling I'm fine with but I am certainly not having sex with anyone until I get married. I have made myself a promise and I intend to keep it.
Drama was sooooooooooo much fun today!! It was awesome, we got to play wink murder, do freezeframes and stuff like that. It was with Miss McCrystal and Ms Jones which was absolutely brilliant!!! I've told you before and I'll tell you again that I absolutely love Drama and acting!!! It is the most beautiful artform and a brilliant way to express yourself and your feelings!!
I had the best day but now I'm absolutely exhausted.....so now I have to go. I will probably write some more of my story today but like I keep saying, don't hold your breath!!
I don't know if I will get to write tomorrow because we will get home later than usual but I am get a chance.
Anyway, till next time.
Jess.

Awesome Day!!!!!!!!
Hey dudes and dudettes,
I had an awesome day!!!!!! As I said yesterday the year 8's and 9's went to Wet 'n' Wild and it was absolutely awesome!!!!!!! I just wish that we had had more time to go on more rides but I still went on heaps of rides. Me, Jen, Amy, Katarina P., Katarina S and Kacie all went together and it was really really fun!!!!!!!!!!! A great day, absolutely the best!!!! Though I swear that if my certain crush ever asks me to be his girlfriend I am definitely taking him shopping!!! He needs some serious fashion advice, I mean he was wearing blue boardshorts (that's fine) but also a blue rashie (blue and blue is definitely a no-no!!!!!) I was almost shuddering, it was horrific!!!!!!
The highlight of the day was definitely Kitty giving me and Ash our friendship necklaces, I got a blue one and Ash got a pink one, Kitty had a purple one. It was awesome because Ash's favourite colour is pink, mine is blue and Kitty's fav colour purple. They are so beautiful, I am really really happy.
Tomorrow I am giving Kitty, Ash, Amy, Jen, Tristan, Sammie, Katarina S and Katrina their Christmas presents. I still have to wrap them though and that's going to be a massive job!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they all like their presents, I am really happy about what I chose, I think they are all individual and match the right person.
I am really massively excited about Christmas now, it's soooooooooooooooooooooo close!!!!! I am really excited about my presents, hopefully I'll get a mobile phone and the Paramore album I want.
Anyways, have to go now and wrap some presents.

Learning every day
Hi there fellow bloggers!
Well, so far I'm doing well, I've managed to write in my blog two days running! I must say that I'm very proud of myself!
What did I do today? Well I went shopping with Mum this morning which was really fun, I was wearing an awesome outfit that actually made me look like I had a figure! We went to Garden City, boy, I love that place, it was so busy but really really fun. I bought Christmas presents for all my friends and now I'm well and truely broke! But I think I chose good presents (I hope so!) I also finished my Christmas list last night and its looking good, hopefully I'll get a new phone and a handbag and the Paramore album from last year!!!!! I love Paramore, totally awesome!!! Anyway, after we got home from the shops Mum and I both had a snack and then it was off to the gym. Boy did we do a workout or what?! It was intense but really fun and satisfying.
It's an absolute scorcher today! So hot that I feel like I'm in a volcano, it's definitely going to be boiling for Christmas which by the way I am really looking foward to!
I'm sitting here in my school sport shorts and my fav t-shirt that says: 'Little Miss Chatterbox' ahhhh so true!! But still, it's definitely not a good look!
You're probably wondering how the story's coming along, well it's going good, if I could get a chance to actually write some of it! I've been so busy today, it's been absolutely mad!! Though you guys are probably glad that I didn't forget about you!!!!!!!!
Well, guess what I'm really excited about??????? Give up? Well I'll tell you, tomorrow all the grade 8s and grade 9s from our school are going to Wet 'n' Wild for the day!!!! I am really excited. Me and Amy and Jen are going to go on all these awesome rides. Amy has never been to Wet 'n' Wild so me and Jen are organising for her to go on the best rides!!!!! I am really really excited!!!! And cause the grade 9's are going too that means that my little crush will be there!!! Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear to god that I hope he doesn't wear a rashie, though everytime we've been swimming at school he has been wearing one.
Anyway, all this weekend I've been absolutely captivated by the O.J. Simpson news, about him being found guilt, etc. etc. But what really interested me was how he didn't get convicted of the 1994 murder that he was put on trial for. I've been researching and it seems to me that he really should have gone to jail for that......I mean all the evidence!!! But anyway I've just been researching it cause it interests me, I do that a lot with anything on the news.
I'm also currently interested in the Shannon Matthews case, I mean how could a mother do that to her daughter? To sedate and then kidnap your daughter and put her through awful things that will scar her for life just for money? You would have to be pretty desperate!
Well, I have to go and write some more of my story (like I said: Don't hold your breath!)

Long time, no write!
Hi there guys and girls,
Wow! I haven't written for ages!!! Well, starting now I promise to write faithfully as often as I can.
Well, what's happened this year......ummm......well I have the most awesome friends now, they rock!!! Amy, Jen, Kitty, Lauren, Ash and everyone else, I love them all so much!!!! We have so much fun even if we are just at school!!! Which by the way is going really well! I absolutely love High School now and I have even managed to get over all the assignments and have actually finished grade 8 very happily with the grades I want!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really proud of myself and I found a whole new side to myself, the actress!!!! To my surprise I found out that I could act (at least I think so!) Acting is such a way to relax and I love it so much!!!! I can't wait for Drama next year and improving my skills! I want to start a Drama club if I have the support of a teacher, anything could happen considering that Amy and I managed to start up a choir with the support of Miss McCrystal within the first six months of High School!!!
My English marks have been surprising!!! I have done quite well and I am really pleased! I received the award for English, SOSE, Music and ACE on our big Awards Night this year when they announced the Dux and stuff! I was really happy!! Plus my English teachers seem to like my stories too and that is really pleasing for me.
You are probably wondering how my stories have been coming along well I ran into a little Writer's Block problem during the year but that's been resolved now and the Writer's Festival opened my eyes to another genre, Fantasy! I wrote a Fantasy story that was 40 pages long and I was really impressed by myself! It's the longest story I have ever written!!! However it was on my USB stick and it got stolen at school by some stupid people!! I still don't know who but I was absolutely furious!!! My stories are like my children, they are precious, it felt like my characters had died and I was crying and everything, it was horrible! I felt empty for days afterwards. Thank goodness one other person has a copy, though I haven't had contact with him in a few weeks so I am unsure of what is going on. But I am trying not to think about it.
I am also writing a new story, a more grown up one. It is about a teenager who is raped and then gets pressured into having an abortion and the events that follow. When it is getting good I may post it on this blog. It is quite difficult to write as I am trying to get the facts right, so don't hold your breath!
Love,
Jess.

Write, write, write
Hi!
I absolutely love to write and would love to be an author. It's really hard to get noticed by publishers because of...well, my age, I guess. I wish that one day a publisher would actually accept my work. It would be wonderful to see my work in print and I live for the day. Ideas for stories haunt me constantly, I often start stories and never finish them because I don't like them anymore. I always have one or more stories on the go at any one time.
Anyway, I've called this blog Forever Young because I am loving being a kid, it's the best fun! But the bad thing is publishers realise that you're just a kid and don't take you seriously! Oh well, I'll just keep writing and hopefully one of my stories will be what a publisher is looking for!
Bye,
Jess.
